Economically speaking, I think this make some sense... how many Sponge Bob or Felix the Cat fans compared to Fight figures ? But he should still think about this old fan base...
Yeah i get making licenses stuff but I feel like offering an anniversary brain or bee would go a long way with the sofubi crowd and reminding people of Secret Bases roots
Thanks for sharing Andy, those images were neat- I think I prefer the Mecha-rhinoceros beetle looking guy to the skull fly (too asymmetrical for me) and the Astro brain and Astro skull are really cool illustrations! as far as letting fight figures fall by the way side... I’d be overjoyed if Hiddy would allow Super7 to trot out the old characters again for a special release or something. Let someone else do the heavy lifting..
Just happy I was around during what I would call the "golden age" of Secret Base. Say 2005–2012 or so? Just pulling numbers out of the air. Before all the nonsensical releases IMO.

DHL prices are sky high unless the business has a high shipping volume account with them, like Mandarake. I'm doubting SB has a DHL account that would make it an option.
Yes, you are right about this. I got something from Mandarake and the charge for DHL was cheaper than EMS.
If i understand it correctly, SB is not currently shipping to America. At least that's what I gathered from their last email regarding the large scale astroboy.
That means that even if they have a new pushead release, it’ll take a while to get anyway. That sucks!

I also recall the time years ago where they included TTT New Balance shoes at random sizes. Was definitely curious to hear the results of the most recent lucky bag before this one. Well I should say this time around it’s a lucky box not a lucky bag. I’m pretty sure they were.
@skaldavsatanssol yes! I had forgotten about the random shoes that were included! And I remember that there were just very few actual toys in the luckybags. If I’m dropping $1k on something, knowing what it is that I’m buying is absolutely a requirement .
