That was such a great surprise bonus for Saturday’s “Dropamania”.

and that new sculpt looks sooooooooo great. Beautiful texture and proportion. Just damn good looking.

It's going to be about 6" But with full articulation at the legs as well as the arms and tail. I think once you guys see the heads and how they relate to each other, it will really come together conceptually.
I've got some bigger figures on the work bench as well.

“Koakaminu and Koninu. Koakiminu is the guardian deity of little dogs. But his body isn’t always his own. When tempted with tasty meats like bacon, steaks, and sausage he becomes possessed by the ogre, Koninu, who only cares about eating meat. He can stay in this form for days, weeks, even months until his appetite is fulfilled. It’s during this period where Koakaminu is absent that great harm can befall little dogs.”

Some one offs Joe randomly dropped almost a couple weeks ago.

Easily one of THE coolest mashups *and* paints Joe’s done, in my opinion.

Also dropping soon, via the fine gents at Creature Bazaar. First, a collaboration between Splurrt and Blitzkrieg Toys, which I call Splurrtzkrieg. Brandon’s Skull atop Joe’s Cadaver Twin body. The heads are painted by Brandon, and the bodies painted by Joe. I think splitting the paint duties between each artist’s part of the mashup is pretty rad. All unique one offs. There’ll be a fifth, but I’m reporting these before the final reveal.

A little DPM and Hambone action.

So does anyone know, do I have to buy dcon tickets to buy tickets to pop shop live to have a chance to buy anyone of the toys from creature bazaar? Or whats the process of buying toys from CB?

I think you just might have to have the app, login and be on at a certain time? I don’t think they’re doin’ any sort of DCon anything, and if I heard correctly once Pop Shop does random drops like a regular website all the time.

    Thanks, @xSuicide Squadx !!

It’s my default backdrop for sure. It never moves. Any other backdrop I use just gets laid over this one. I think my blood is this color before it touches oxygen. The number one staple in my personal color wheel.

And Goji blue is such a perfect match for contrast.

    I feel that.

IMO, Metallic blue is definitely a tone I like ONLY when it’s done exceptionally. It’s a subtle overtone with these releases. A little seasoning. Perfect little color pops.

I like it the most over shades of brown.

And just an FYI in case someone hasn't seen it yet: Last chance to grab the Garamon tribute colorway of Cadaver Kid - "Garakid" - over at Lulubell now.

Hard to believe. Thanks for putting up with me for a decade SB

Next month, I’ll have the official 10 year release which is going to be a gold blank. And then there was one person I really wanted to paint some this year as part of the 10 year celebration and that is Grody Shogun, so hopefully those won’t be too far out either, but will definitely happen this year.

I was one of the lucky few to grab this limited run from secretdemonservices. I believe there were 10 painted plus 1 chase figure, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Wow, this is the 2nd OG Steve, I've seen posted in the past few days. Glad they are still out there, being enjoyed. It is on my list to do a Joker colorway on the new body. Once I get through the glow figures I'm sitting on, I'm going to order some vinyl for a joker run. If anyone has a preference for which version of the Joker feel free to chime in.

@JoeMan You gifted me the OG Uncle Steve at DCon in 2015. Still in the collection, still cherished! I’d say do two runs: The Killing Joke Joker and The Dark Knight Returns Joker.

Yeah man, i really freaking love this dude! It sucks that old body-style mold got destroyed. The new body looks cool too, but this old one just adds a little more character to him imo.

Unfortunately the OG Body didn’t work owing to the collapse of the flat bottom where the legs popped in.

A little trip down memory lane:

That wax was one of my earlier forays in wax prototyping on a larger scale. I cast and cleaned the wax prototype, then sent it (or took it - can’t remember - it was only a 30 minute train trip to Koenji) to Velocitron to handle the rest of the production. The body cracked before Ricky got it to the joints phase, but it was repaired and eventually made it to molds - only to be scrapped due to the whole collapsing crotch issue.

Just the one release at DCON - yeah?

anyway, blah blah blah. I miss Japan.
