To be fair I think the ape is an amazing design it just depends which colors suite your fancy. I own about 3 of them myself and they are wonderful display pieces. I don't care for the way this green version was painted but if they decided to do a few more variants with the color id be buying a few.
I will say it's the one I find the most pleasing, out of the whole glut of yeti-sasquatch-ape-type designs... just not my bag when it comes to spendin' my precious sofubic dollars. And to be a pointlessly finicky a-hole* about a toy I don't intend to buy anyway, I would say not painting the nostrils is the one miss in this otherwise fun and funny hulk homage. *aka a skullbrainer
With the way prices are on sofubi toys today id agree. We all have to pick and choose our battles when it comes to wants with these toys in general. And yeah id have to agree about the nostrils part. Probably why it throws this whole version off for me in the first place.

No but I wanted to! Awesome Toy has been killing it with releases. Iv been currently obsessed with the Mulan and Bigfoot releases.
