I would consider it to be a worthwhile add, but I'm in no hurry to see it done, and would cry no tears if it never came to pass. As for the time thing, are you two talking about something different than being able to set your specific time zone in your profile preferences? All of my stamps are set to read EST, but the full Greenwich span is easily selected. @scobot @ultrakaiju
Yeah I'm not sure what's being requested with time stuff. You set your own timezone, and then all times shown on the board are in your local time.
Also, I made the "Start a Conversation" button a little more distinctive under users' names and avatars. Does anyone think it should be more easy to see?
No that is pretty easily recognizable as it is. Anyone looking should see it plus now that the Flickr and IG things are clickable links in the same area it all works well together.
It's been mentioned in this thread before James but can we dispense of the worst-named subtitle to a forum ever created? In marketplace under For Sale that subtitle is horrible: "Full shelf players and flippers do it here"? It harkens to that hyped up KR bro culture with full shelf players and glorifies flippers by saying they do it here. Needs to go, was a bad idea from the start.
Hahahahhaha seriously- since your PM that you were going to pass me in post counts less than a month ago tooth you have 393 posts and ultra has 372 more in the same period?! In less than a month mind you! WTF guys go outside once in awhile- enjoy fresh air, SB can be fun but so is life!
I don't recall my mention of the post count to you as being a good thing, sweetness. I'm a big fan of the great outdoors, Mr. Lixx, but shattered bone, perpetually healing wounds from multiple surgeries and the accompanying 24-hours a day of severe pain make my desired expeditions to like places like river beds, hilltops and the corner store rather difficult these days. Your concerns are noted, though, and thanks much for the advice!
Well, I would like to point out that I at least try to contribute something with my posts, which is more than I can say for a lot of others. ^ Case in point. Furthermore, I spent the entire weekend out hiking and camping as a matter of fact, not that I would expect anyone to believe that some of us have a world that exists beyond the vital all-encompassing posts on an internet forum about plastic toys that define who we are.
I thought I clicked on the wrong thread for a minute there when I wanted to ask about a new feature I was having trouble with. Only to realize I was in the right spot but now I don't remember what my question was. Well played SB, you win this round.
Inanity is fine, but isn't this supposed to be a thread of actually useful information? EDIT: as above, since posted, I think this has become clear. And confounding avatars won't earn you any extra helpings of gravy.
You're right, I've never been much of a contributor. Good on you for pointing that out, @ultrakaiju, and thanks for your support. Tsolidarity!
Tsk, tsk. No need to take it personally, I was just pointing out that, as the above examples showed, there are a good number of posts here all the time that don't necessarily add a whole bunch, that's all. And particularly in the FAQ/Announcements sections of the board, it is probably not all that helpful. And to put your mind at ease, neither you, nor anyone on here is on my naughty list. (you know I can't afford the alimony or legal costs if we get divorced)
