Umipudoru (Sea Poodle) One-Up "Akiba Culture Zone" Exclusive. Happy I was able to get this guy. I love the pink, purple, green, blue, brown, and how some of them blend into each other.

So what are the sources of Yamomark's figures? Are they from various shows, or are they unique creations?

Also, I could not find much on Bogura specifically. Anyone know more about this creature?

 

Most (if not all) of them are original creations.

 

Thanks. I could not find much about the company. I just managed to come across a Bogura at auction and was lucky enough to win it (although it will likely be a while before I have it in my hands). I was not too familiar with it, but I fell in love with its ugly mug once I saw it. I don't see too much about it online, other than the photos of the one-offs for an upcoming show. I'm surprised this figure is not getting more attention (unless those in the know are keeping hush hush).

 

I loved the debut of this, but this clear version blew my mind. I actually thought it was a mini rather than full size because I have not been keeping up with Yamomark. I remember the first versions of the Nasura being minis. Stoked one will be coming in the mail for me. So much so I decided to keep the clear Mushroom Soupman as a friend for him!:

Yeah I entirely under estimated the size. Especially when bidding. I figured "Oh a mini, low bid will suffice!" Then later realized it's a big piece of vinyl. Too late to increase I got lucky. Here are some more pics of it from the Yamomark blog:

Nice grab Chris and good to see you decided to keep that Mushroom Soupman figure as it's a real beauty. The Mushroom Soupman suit was made by Atsushi Tomura of Pico Pico.

 

Got this awesome spooky character form Joseph. Does anyone know who's head is on the dog?

 

Don't know but it looks more caucasian than japanese.

Fun one, like the jinmenken omake which I find even spookier...

 

That thing's awesome! Totally reminds me of the human-faced dog from the 70's remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers!
