Yeah, thanks for the Uncle Acid link! Been listening to Vol 1 and Blood Lust non-stop. I remember seeing the album cover (Blood Lust) on Rise Above a few months back, but then forgot to look into them any further. Wish I had paid more attention back then...although I probably wouldn't have bought the vinyl anyway because it's so damn expensive to buy from Rise Above.
@BoxingXius, you and I have a ton of the same tastes... I saw B.P.B/Will Oldham play at a record store on my 23 birthday... I've got photos somewhere of him kissing me on the cheek... It was awesome, I've been a fan of his since I was 17 or so...
Hope this link works! Styles P, need I say more! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuyF5U6l ... ata_player
Sounds great! I'm a big fan of his music, and I try to see him play whenever he visits Sweden. I actually recorded a cover version of "A sucker's evening" from "Arise therefore" (which is probably my favorite album of his) back in 2003. My version was later one of the songs chosen to appear on the Oldham-tribute "I am a cold rock I am dull grass" (http://www.amazon.com/Cold-Rock-Grass-O ... B000FTKOL6) which also featured contributions from big names like Iron and Wine, Mark Kozelek and Calexico. I did a "new" cover version of that song when I played a show at a theater in Gothenburg last year. You can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukEJfOpda_Y If you look closely you might be able to spot a 15" Ultraman on top of my amp.
@Slipstar01: By the way... Have you seen the commercials for the "Beware"-album featuring Oldham with Tim and Eric? Great stuff! -Gill Prince Billie... I saw "Bonnie Prince Billy" in 1999, soo fucking awsome. Been a fan of "Will" since the early 90's! Also check out: Bill Callahan (smog) and Dirty three!
Any Cold Cave fans? I guess you could call it "neo-new-wave", "synth-pop", "goth-tinge". I suck at placing music in genres but take a listen for yourself! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRt-IzBXdNY

I will just pretend like I know any of those long haired angry people, just in case someone did not get his easter egg Iron maiden was the thing when I grew up, later Cro Mags (has a danish basist) and Shelter was the shit. I always loved music from NYC.
After two pointless ablums, one of my rare all time favorite band returned with something worthy of their name ! And still, some bloody classical..
