    Just got my very first vintage Marusan Goji with a double-stamp! Overall it is in good shape with firm articulations. Very minimal silver spray left on the chest but the mouth and eyes still has a good amount of paint. There is some faint graffiti on the feet and on the sides of the legs but not too bad overall! I think I am addicted now :lol:

    @KaijuRy Love the goji. The circle of silver spray remaining on the chest gives it some great character.

    @Roger - The forever classic mid-size MG.

    Thanks man, I agree! I was considering giving him a bubble bath but was worried it could ruin whatever spray was left.

    The mild soap and water are typically fine, but just go very light on any rubbing or scrubbing. The silver can be fragile or stuck on like glue. You get the hang of it after cleaning a few. If you prefer not to risk it, then just enjoy it as-is. The ink is not going to come off, so a light bath would just help with dust and dirt. The toy looks great and should display nicely.

    Recent Bullmark pickup in pretty good shape with some nice spray. Just have to work on getting rid of that old attic smell now :)

    @KaijuRy The "old attic smell" is all part of the charm of these 50+ year old soft vinyl toys. In my opinion, one can get familiar with the vintage aroma of very old sofubi, and it is also a good indicator of a legit piece versus a more modern reissue. Enjoy the musky history in those old polyvinyl chlorides.
