Really deserves extended gawking. Had to bring Josh's mind boggling collection to this next page, so I can continue zooming to admire. Does anyone see a Suphenodon in there? Bottom photo, is that a Daikyo steggie (green/orange) next to the red Miura steggie (on the floor, left of center)? He's huge!

He's huge![/QUOTE] yes, thats a giant size Daikyo Stegosaurus - very similar to the standard sculpt, just bigger. There is also a giant size Daikyo Dimetrodon, I'll post a photo later of that one. Not sure which is the Suphenodon you mean....my dino-nerd-cred is only medium, ha!
Marusan Mothra - The colorway on the vintage Marusan is sublime against the light blue vinyl. This one has aged to more of a turquoise color. I have seen a few age almost all the way to a green color.
WOW!!! He's huge! Congratulations! The color and exceptional condition of the paints are impressive. How do you plan to display this monster? @joshuajh thank you for sharing your Daikyo Dimetrodons, they are gorgeous Thought I saw a Suphenodon in your collection photo, but on second look, I don't see one.
@Mr. Humphreys - Hi Grace, the camera perspective might be making the toy look a bit larger than it actually is, but it does have a 12" wingspan. That said, it will fit in a standard Detolf: I have seen some people get creative with Mothra displays by hanging them with wire or string or using pedestal stands, but for easy space savings they can stand vertically against the back of a shelf and display the paints. I have a few Bullmark examples displayed the same way. They would be shelf hogs laying flat, and require some creativity to display without taking over the space.
@deafmetal Some mighty nice toys in that case! Thank you for the explanation. Mothra looks fantastic, still drooling over those paints and perfect antennae. Really nice! p.s. pardon my ignorance, but why is that nifty little Baragon missing his third eye?
He's the elusive "balloon blower" mini. Across is his even more elusive brethren, the goji balloon blower.
