I saw that Anguirus on auction, I knew this must be an unusual variant but had no idea this might be an one-off! Thank you for sharing all of these, would love to know more stories behind this beauty if you find some new info.

Bullmark Kanegon and Marusan? Gabara. I was really surprised by the two figures for the sculpture, the colors of the vinyl and the paint job. I think in person they look much better than what the photos reflect.
I've yet to find a decently priced Kanegon. I've had a few escape from me. Yours has very nice paint. Grats!
Thank you very much, the same thing happened to me for a long time I wanted a vintage Kanegon, but in recent years I let go of several good specimens of YJP and Mandarake that later I ended up regretting not having pulled the trigger at the time. Now I'm in the hunt for the vintage Marusan version, I would also love the rakugaki version but it won't be easy or cheap.

Really cool! I mostly collect heroes so I'm not too familiar with all the kaiju and have questions. What's the name? Year? Make? Size? I'd like to learn more, but from the outside it feels like they've made 10+ versions of each kaiju and deciphering the real landmark and impactful releases of each is pretty tough.

Apologies for the photo dump. Got this nice and heavily sprayed Goji for a pretty decent price recently. Got him for a pretty good deal, at least I thought. It wasn't until after I won the auction and was browsing the photos for fun that I realized one of my biggest fears of buying vintage. I missed something! I know you're thinking, its obviously right in front of me! and you're right, but for the life of me i did not notice. I was gutted. The black marker went all the way from the top of the head and down the fins. When i got him in the mail I expected the worst but tried to clean it anyways with warm soapy water. And what do you know! It started coming off! Now obviously there's plenty still left, especially in the middle for some reason, but its not as pronounced as when I received it. It cleaned up fairly nicely all things considered. And here's a last shot with his bros
@brobles I remember that auction Brian and despite the graffiti on the dorsal fin I think without a doubt that you made a good purchase, this is a great figure and your cleaning job was spectacular. Congrats you do a great score!
@brobles I think you lucked out and the marker was applied on top of the paint, preventing it from soaking into the vinyl. Once that happens its almost impossible to get off. Looks great!! I had the same thing happen with a garamon mini I just got, marker right on the front, luckily it came off.
Fun mail day yesterday. The highlight is the Marusan garamon wind up. Got a great deal and both he and the box are beautiful condition.
