Who makes that Draag? I saw the little Unbox Kewpie-style ones but didn't know other ones were out there.

 

This fly Betty just made her way into my…neck…of the woods.

 

Fun little mail day for some fun little characters. I was very lucky to be able to snag a one-off from Owl Toys last week.

 

The header art for this new Gigara mini is absolutely amazing.

 

I'm finally archiving all my headers properly and Spectrum Lab really stands out for their variety. I hadn't noticed before but we've had a couple of header variations for every mini release to date. Really shows a love for the medium.

@xHikix Skullbrain in and of itself was created expressly for the sharing, conversation and enthusiasm of sofubi, soft vinyl, sofvi; however you wanna word it. More westernized toys, while not exactly prohibited or banned, don’t typically bode well for any of the three aforementioned towards this forum specifically. That’s not at all to say people can’t collect ‘em; I’ve got quite a few western vinyl toys myself. But it is somethin’ of a specific demographic here, hence the pokin’ with the electric bill. Just ‘cause it came in the mail, doesn’t necessarily mean it needs to be shared here. And I’m sayin’ this with full nicety and hopes of simply shedding some light on an otherwise unknown! I found this out the hard way myself in 2013.

Combining a couple of mail days, the kind that almost help to erase an age milestone. The 350 was issued in August, and as much as I didn't really want a MG in my collection (dumb, right?), that blue won me over. The Kinema-Junpo book is a treasure.

Got my first spectrum lab figure and am really impressed! He really nailed the old school bullmark mini feel. Also was able to make a trade with a great board member to add to my Cojica shelf.

 

I parted with this one before, but had to grab it for keeps. There are a lot of toys LIKE this one, but there are no toys like THIS one. I think about if i had to grab my top 10 toys, this would be one. I never had the tower and cicada man kubrick so a nice bow on top.

 

Received both of these a couple weeks apart, but I figured they make a good pair. Kumon mailing list sample from March 2018, and a recent release from Tiger Head Robot. Kemur is one of my favourite Ultra-Q monsters hands down, and criminally underrepresented in stylised toy form, so I'd been following this sculpt for a while. This was the first painted release, a collaboration with Toysbian, who also offered a yellow version with black and silver paint. Better photos of both to come in future.

 

I love that kumon. It makes me think of 80s toys and their wild colors
