I'm a little concerned I'll be waiting for my email to come and it won't show up. But, I still secured my spot. I planned on a trip to socal this summer anyways, so now I've got the dates.
Given the lockdowns and lack of any recent toy shows in the US I feel like this event is going to have an amazing amount of toys and should be lots of fun.

Those Unchimen are simply amazing. I won't be able to make it after all, but those quickly became my number 1 item of the show!
I'm also super intrigued by Jon's promise of "sofubi ephemera" that he posted in his Instagram story yesterday. Expecting blanks and uncut stuff maybe, sounds really cool.

I'm planning on spending the whole weekend in LA. Any cool toy shops or just shops to check out? I'm staying in Fairfax, not too far from the museum. I've made loads of food plans and a comedy show for Friday but not much else.
If you've never been, the little Tokyo area is a must. A couple cool shops, tons of good food, and it's right next to downtown so you can hit some art museums and stuff in the same day.
