thanks...send your pieces my way and i can take some photos for you based on the photos i saw, i wasn't into the gid maddalla at first. lulu had a few in last week and they are so much better in person.
I got to jump on a real computer, and first thing I see is that Marine Kong collection from Hiro. Dear lord.
A HUGE thanks to Krudler for coming through for me and redirecting this Marine Kong into my collection. You rule Josh. Different HP -
I don't really keep up with SK but, this sculpt is pretty cool. I might have to track down a cheap one to have in my collection
Tim, those MKs are outstanding. These have to be two of the most beautiful one-offs to surface from any line of figures. And I ditto Joe's comment you lucky sob!
I don't have any SK in my collection but damn, that 2nd Marine Kong is beautiful. I may have to dive in one day.
Dude, it seems like lately every other toy I've bought or ordered online has had some kind of defect. It got so bad I was actually considering quiting collecting. (Maybe I've just been having bad luck who knows or maybe my expectations for QC are too high.) And now I don't want to even order a toy if I can't see it in hand first. The only company I trust to deliver quality time after time is RxH. Thank fucking god I started airbrushing. I've got a bunch of figures to practice and experiment on.
That sucks! Was it packed properly and was the box too small? I've always been weary about accidents especially with the horns. So far none broke or cracked (knock on wood) but I've got an Iron Beast and Bagun that came in with paint rubs on their horns.
Not talking about Shikaruna, but I've had numerous toys coming MIB with paint rubs. Actually very few I receive do not have one somewhere. The worst being those bagged with a paper sheet inside...
Besides the "Iron" Beast, got some other nice stuff in the SK LBs. The Garumega is seriously a beast of a sculpt. From the front blades to the crazy faceted shell on the back. And was really happy to pull a Clear Khappa after seeing the one D got. The subtle paint really adds to the craziness of this sculpt. I like how the shell on the back is painted so it shines through on the front. And then there's these two Gold guys to join the Kong.
Here's a plethora of Minis. It's amazing how much detail was put into every single one. Even those that aren't SPs.
