Both Garumegas and Spacemonster I've seen are jewels! Shikaruna has realy put the "lucky" in this years lucky bags.
Wow Daniel those monster claws on this Garumega are spectacular! Lucky Bag indeed. I've given up ever getting my LB seems SK doesn't want to ship it to me I need to stop looking at this thread.
Yeah, that Garumega's shell is mighty impressive - never expected something like that. Autopsy: congrats, of the standard sized pieces, you've nabbed my favorite that I've seen yet. I'm also really happy to see him working with a lot of translucent vinyls, right now.
Got this nice Gaezal. And some cool Minis. Love how they're articulated. And was lucky enough to track down this beauty.
Wow, even with all my great SK one-offs and my giant clear Zag, I'm still so jealous of that gold MK! Awesome score, Joe!
2 mini Khappa (one-offs)....noticed that they have differently sculpted left arms... (Im not totally sure, but I think I have seen another mini with again another sculpted arm..maybe some experts here can give some insight infos ?) amazing details..didnt expect them to be soooooo mini !
great gaezal and marine kong joe! flankengott, the 2 mini khappas i have also have different hands...one set is more spread out than the other.
Wow that gold marine kong kills!! honestly when i saw the pic with all the gold versions i didnt think much of em, till i saw your pic Joe! congrats on the score! wish I didn't skip on getting a SK lb this year =[
Excuse the ignorance and lack of knowledge but what was the original issue with the marine kong? It's an awesome toy but I thought there was some reason why they didn't release it for awhile. Or am I think of another siccaluna toy?
Siccaluna doesnt have the license so they can't "sell" it officially. But they can include it in the lucky bags because they are not officially selling it.
I'm not questioning you, but this answer seems too easy. S-K began producing Marine Kong in 2007, but for some reason the licensing arrangement fell through and they had to stop production. For that reason, the very few Marine Kongs that have been sold up until now were sold without a name printed on their header. This is based on what I have pieced together. Maybe this works differently in Japan, but I can't see how it is totally 'ok' for them to sell this simply because they don't call it "Marine Kong." I think they are just flying under the radar. It is also interesting that S-K did not begin to sell these again until the original owner's son took over the business.
SK is known for their lavish use of colours, so there are few naked figures in the wild. I like most things black, so I am very happy to get this special naked black kong.
