Dropping these Godman creature photos in here too, since this is a more suitable place for them.
The ugliest Garamon makes a new friend!
Spoiler: More photos
Sorry for the double-post This is one of my favourite Buta shots so far so I wanted it in the proper thread.
Some micro dinosaur kaiju with neko tank!
My favorite thread. I'm new on here but have been reading all these threads and loving all these pictures.
Nice to see a new Buta enthusiast! Welcome to the Boards Radin
Bakura by Butanohana
Another great Buta toy added to my collection. I love the little extra arms sculpted into his chest
Ha, awesome pictures! Really shows the paint application well. That is a great figure.
Can you tell which one isn't a buta?
Finally was able to nab one in the wild. The Swimmy Design Lab Matango could almost pass for a buta I think! Finally found both of those Alien Viras. I kept losing them in storage boxes somewhere around the house
Wow, great collection!! Jealous of those great Buta Alien Viras toys!
These guys are fantastic and the detail is AMAZING!
Found a new mural tucked into a little alley in my neighborhood today. Perfect backdrop for the very fancy Hare Hare.
Spoiler: More photos
Beautiful Zindy! Love those photos, especially the one with the mural
I love that Matango!!! This is what I am missing from being absent
@GoldenArmKid he does fit in amongst the butas quite nicely doesn't he! You probably know that the Matago isn't a buta, it's a Swimmy Design Lab. Both toy makers are very talented, and both toy lines are just as expensive!
Sorry for the bad focus on these the growing Buta micro collection keeps pushing me to get a real camera setup with controlled lighting. Especially these G-series chaps, as the bright orange heads tend to lose detail on a phone camera.
I think this is my favourite mashup from this set
Swapped some standard size guys for some little guys.
Including my first 2 prehistoric man micros
One thing I didn’t notice until I got them was the homo georgicus is a single piece which is the first time I’ve seen a one piece Buta micro. Looking at the database thread it looks like the homo habalis is the same but not sure if there are any others out there I’ve missed.
Wow! I had no idea the cave peeps were hollow! They're like vintage finger puppets. Are these the only Buta figured that are hollow? Nice grouping of minis
yeah from what I can tell there’s only the 2 one piece hollow minis but happy to be proven wrong
So weird! Since their isn't a "foot"/base surface, is the Buta "signature" on the backside? Curiouser and curiouser!
Yeah the signature and the species name are on the back of the mini.
I could have sworn you had every buta release Grace! Are you missing these?
Ha! I blush with embarrassment Brian . I have most of the standard size releases, but only a select few of the micros/minis. Had to draw the line somewhere, as it is, I still need to buy cases. Dare I say it, but these micro cave peeps didn't appeal to me. I prefer the original naked cave peeps.
p.s. @Bob Thanks for the info! If it's not too much of a bother, can you please post a photo of the back, showing the signature? Thank you!
