Nice foto. That same color application idea is one of my favorite things about the Marmit Belchor; the slightly blue green metallic over the matte, more true green.

@C E very cool! Is that a former gravel quarry? Was the work for Bureau of Land Management or another Fed agency? How long did the project take to complete? Did you do a write up of the restoration? Nice work!

 

Thank you @Mr. Humphreys ! Yeah, It was a job for Statkraft, the state owned hydropower company. Closing up and restoring a rock quarry which was opened four years ago to reinforce a nearby dam to the latest safety regulations. I'm working on a write up of it now

 

That sounds like a good read, says one environmental remedation geologist to another! No small feat, considering all of the regulatory requirements! Definitely worthy of splurging on a whole box of toys Congratulations on a great job!

 

Nabbed this cutesy little lady today after ordering it a couple of months ago (my partner says she is a girl, so she is now). Really cool of Refreshment Toy to run an open pre-order of these cat-painted Kewpie dolls, and produced by Obitsu with their 54 years of Kewpie stewardship to boot. Nice thick vinyl, smooth and solid joints, adorable toy. Her expression is so mischievous, and looks just a little dark in the right lighting. Tried to convey that in the second pic. My one nit is the wings on the back, which imo don't work nicely with the rest of it, but it's a small complaint.
