I wish the RxH adult figures were as easy to get as they were 6-7 years ago, but rest assured they don't all fall into flipper's hands..... That being said, I'd be willing to sell these two- $8000 firm for the pair.
Hell yes. I've seen a few of them go to excellent homes which makes me almost as happy as if I'd won myself. It's funny, a flipper in a Facebook group I browse sometimes actually listed this Aliman in the 8k ballpark. So in a world gone mad this is a steal really thankfully nobody's bought it yet, to my knowledge
Geez. That's nuts. On a totally unrelated topic, what was the name of that facebook group? I'm asking... for a friend.
My mistake everyone; I must have converted from the wrong currency. It's actually closer to $2k. I have actually seen MVH and the like listed for upward of that out there, though (no currency errors this time, I swear! ) The group is called "Anyone Art & Sofubi Club" if you want to take a look. It's mostly people flipping HK toys, sometimes at inoffensive prices and sometimes at outrageous ones. But I've met a couple of decent people out there.
This collab looks kinda weird to me. Maybe it will be better looking with eyeball later. Still prefer some old-school head & arm sculpts. What do you guys think?
It looks great, nice mutation going on in that head sculpt. But I guess it's too early to be hyped so some people won't commit until the tastemakers approve it..
I do not approve, sorry Mandarake, you're going to have to resell this one for a measly 200-300 a pop.
Sculpt is great imo, I like the weirder stuff Mori is putting out. Not digging the bone colour on a plain black body, but we haven't seen the whole thing painted up yet of course.
Sheeeit. I won this lottery too (my first one after trying to score for like 4 yrs!) and it still hasn't arrived. I haven't been paying attention, but now have seen yours and a couple others on IG that all arrived a couple weeks ago. I've emailed about it and not rec'd a reply. Starting to worry that I shoulda known it was too good to be true. j (and I don't have $8K either! ha ha)
Very nice one to start off with, congrats! Its interesting that so many of these adult figures use the same torso and legs sculpt, with different arms and head. Just like the fight size Mutant Head torso and legs (with shorts) was also used for the Mutant Evil. This one has forearms similar to the Ghost Sider II, but not exactly the same. It also has one horn broken off on the same side, just like the Ghost Sider II. A constant evolution flowing like an unstoppable river . . .
RxH prices on Mandarake are insane right now. Prices in general there are insane right now - or is it just me who thinks that?
Hiked to maximise profit from the new Nouveau Riche Asian markets that have already drained the HxS swamp and moved onto RxH . . . like a plague of locusts!
Haha, a termite infestation. Mandarake really started taking the piss a few years ago and its only gotten worse. The way they flip current artists releases, especially festival only releases is pretty blatant. The mark-up is insane, like those recent Sunguts Shin-Gojira . . .
So glad a lot of the old RxH is affordable now. I have a few of the new guys but the simplicity of the old sculpts I find more appealing.
as someone new to sofubi collecting and Real Head, I thought the prices of the newest alien heads were pretty brutal. I did pickup a few of the older adult designs for about 200~250 ish. I guess since Real Head is the latest hyped up thing, it'll be difficult to find any alien heads at a more " reasonable " price range. Then again, I do enjoy the process of collecting, looking on auctions sites / mandrake / etc etc to see if any " good deal " comes up.
