Extremely difficult if not impossible. Sorry the new page start bumped back your question about the PK × Frenzy figure. Fwiw I have no idea who painted it.
No prob haha, cheers for even noticing that. I’ll take a closer look at that Flickr album, maybe see if I can contact whoever took the photos.
If you have the Electric Mockbat from Summer Slime 2017 can you tell me the easiest way to turn the lights on/off? Message me if you have the solution, thanks!
@debparis I’ll have to get a hold of the missus’ ‘Bat when I get a chance, but last I remember it was just the push of a button.
Thanks to you I found it! When you said "button" I checked all over the figure and there's a tiny nub on the back of its left leg, it's so well blended it looks like a little wart. Thanks a lot Robert!
From the Dual Bat’s debut release during Paul’s show at Stranger Factory in 2016. One of PK’s least talked about sculpts, though I can’t at all imagine why. Beautifully painted one off on black base vinyl. The missus and I went halfsies on it, and it’s the only toy in each other’s collections we share.
So which one of you claims ownership of the deformed half? Derpy and adorable, but he's a handful that one... Congrats to both your collections on that beautiful specimen I wasn't able to make that show, but fortunate to have one of the variants from it. Same black vinyl, but the heavy base paint makes it far from apparent until closer inspection. Will post a pic one of these days.
Just one day after Christmas and Paul’s still in the giving spirit. Immediately following the news of Dr. Hellmock we’re #Blest with a mashup of vintage inspired proportions. With what Paul feels like is in the ilk of Red King he reveals the Mock Sprout. View this post on Instagram
^^^ Love this. Real treat to see a slice of PK history (ala the OG resin Bat head) make a triumphant return in its new snazzy form. Almost equally surprising to see the bloom's return as well. To the best of my knowledge (feel free to correct if wrong @Paulkaiju ) its only prior release was an attachment fused to the back of 3(?) Sally Joe's. Very stoked to see these 2 pcs of history circling back to revamp the beloved Bat body in 2020. The same can be said for Sparky & Mr. Hellmock's full-size debut as well.
Yes indeed. The originals used in those Joes were resin. This weird "Burgess shale" inspired bloom is that original sculpt I happened to discover in a drawer and clean up. Plenty of Mockadelic stuff for 2020, Sparky the baby monster, plus a bonus mini for the line of real self- indulgent movie inspired obscurities following the Quatroid.
Looks great! I'm super excited for all the amazing color ways and paint schemes your gonna be coming out with on this toy.
