Small group of my repro mini Bullmarks. These are all very hard to find as originals (or nonexistent in the case of Taishoh), for now these will fill the space where hopefully the real ones will go!
Man! When did they do up that Taishoh? Are those Tsuburaya Productions/Yamo era or phoenix Bullmarks? Sharp row.
I believe that Satan Beetle is really hard to find because it was part of a target shooting set or something like that. My favorite beetle kaiju.
Man, beautiful stuff here fellas! How did I somehow overlook so many updates? @XVivaHateX Those are some great additions. You really snagged some beauties there, in real nice condition too. I cannot agree more, how much even a little mail in these days of super long delays and long isolation can mean. @deafmetal Wowsers! Talk about a beauty lot of Tohos. I actually love seeing all of the Yujimades together with the vintage. There are just so many variations now, and they are all wonderful on their own, but seeing the family assembled somehow makes me love them - the sculpts, the colours, the detail, and just the toys! - all that much more. I definitely want to hunt down more of the reissues, especially of the UFO set guys, which I'll probably not get in vintage. @djkemp Really lovely. I am so thrilled you are continuing on to hunt those little hard to find fellas to fill in the, now very few, gaps you have in your mini Bullmark family. In short,
Cheers guys, @toothaction they are all Yamanaya, I picked three of them up at the Bullmark/Marusan event in Yokohama last year (Satan Beetle, Alien Virmin & Taishoh). I don't think they had been out long then, they are also sold as a set of 4 with Kanegon. The GID Draco is just a touch older and was released at the same time as a new GID Garamon. The Taishoh is an interesting one though as his mould was made in the 1970s but he never made it to production until recently. That's the same for a few other minis as well. I know some never made it due to a high mould defect rate but I'm not sure if that was the case with Taishoh? @Roger I'd not heard that before, that would make sense in regards to how hard he is to find, sounds like a great set! I did hear that Draco was only sold in bagged tower sets which makes him so tricky to get
After a very very long trip my mini Goji has finally arrived to join the gang. Thanks Mark @deafmetal
@djkemp - Dave, I am very glad he finally made it there safely and he could join your large Bullmark mini family.
Me too! Both the mini and the standard are some of my favorite Bullmarks. Congrats! Here’s an old picture from when I completed the pair View this post on Instagram
These are so great! All of these minis. But I have a special place in my heart for that Kemular. The hunt is on.
