Just got this guy, love him so much, I think he is a Mach Baron villain called Schmidt G, what I'm trying to find out is how many other Mach Baron villains in this size were made? I've searched the forum but seems like all the images are long gone. This one is very small, approx 85mm and I'd like to find others in this scale, any help greatly appreciated.
I have spent a long time trying to find out info on these guys. There are alot of figures and especially when you throw in the Zarboga and Red Baron minis (I have a flicker folder of many types here https://www.flickr.com/photos/scottvan/albums/72157633498519786/page1) But to answer your question specifically I think there are 3 in this set - SpringerX, Schmitt G, Deathmark WO. SpringerX Deathmark WO
There is also a slightly larger Bullmark set that is pretty cool ... Here is a comparison with a different colour smaller Springer X
@scobot Great pics, I was searching around the net and found this pic below, looks like there is a few others in the smaller size?
Further searching online has revealed some very useful pics, you can see a real difference in the sizes now, I would assume this is the whole set.
Awesome!!! Beautiful toys like these embody the essence of what I love about this hobby. I'm happy to be here
Very happy to add this mini Dorako to my collection, this is one I never thought I would own as it very rarely comes up for sale and when it does its always quite expensive. All the hours of scouring the web has finally paid off!
Does anyone know the story behind this Arstron? Rare Bullmark sculpt or pachi? View this post on Instagram
@old_seaweed is correct, it's from the Bullmark wind-up toy as shown below. As far as I remember, I may be wrong but I think if you take these figures off the base they have little rubber lugs so I assume they have been cut off from the one in your picture?
Yeah I had this same riddle once .. @old_seaweed iand @djkemp are on point - it is from the dancing ultra wind up toy..
@scobot Nice pictures, I'm assuming this is a figure you own or owned?? Did it have lugs on the bottom? Also I can see it has katakana impressed in the side of the foot, does it definitely say Bullmark? (ブルマァク) I always found it strange they sculpted a whole new mini for this toy when from what I can tell all the ultramen are the normal mini sculpts.
Me, too, but a lot of these toys were developed at a very rapid pace. Maybe there was some logistical reason why they tooled up a completely separate mini.
