ive got a zine of his that has crayon color scheme drawings for his yusei majin and fish dude, he gave it to me when i visited his store last year
Yoda’s such a nice dude. And he’s super funny, too. He limited even more space in his shop, so it’s even more tight knit quarters, but makes it even more awesome to squeeze around for an intimate look. I need to edit the photos her permitted me to take.
Got a parcel with a Gas Bawer recently and it has this bag: It's not the first time I got my hands on a Gas Bawer but it's the first time I got this bag. Anyone knows what it is?
Likely a CKA store release via in person lottery in Ekoda. I am curious JL.. which Gasbawer was included? There are variant sprays of several Dempagon and Gasbawer (subtle paint details etc.) most notably the IKB tribute Dempagon with additional blue on the feet area. I wish there were more Longneck fans on here to chime in and share details or at least photos of their own collections. Japanese fans of Longneck are bonkers for Yoda and he deserves (and receives) much respect.
It had been speculated that a Kemurijin mini was included with all of this version. I gather it was not and this release also had a variant. Perhaps that is the answer on the bag. @chimply.kaiju can you chime in on what the Longneck bag says?
Thanks Anthony. It seems a ww2 reference of sorts, from a friend in Japan that wrote: "Love love nuclear bomb blood" Considering how visceral this Gas looks, seem likely a memorial tribute towards the past generation which survive the atrocious events in Japan, 1945. Longneck is top of the chart for amazing tributes of all his characters, some weird, some funny, always inspired. Yoda is a Sofvi Magician, I think so anyway....... The 1/49 is more confusing since it doesn't relate to the number of Gasbawer in this style. That was why I speculate it was a lottery at CKA during Ekoda Night Bazaar festival. Edit. Would love to see photo of the "Spell Seijin" tribute Kougai Kaiju next to this Gasbawer.
Have a look at my flickr's account: JL's pictures and you'll find one... I can't manage to have the BB code from the Flickr app !!!!
Here is the original Showa era Japanese hand puppet which inspired the head used on Death Menargo... I now own three of them and one of the Satan versions. Still need the Monkey in the Top hat. Hard to find but usually kind of cheap.
A little help. Can anyone with this crater body provide a picture of the engravings on the foot? Thank you.
Thank you Mark! I use to own one. But I sold it a few years ago. Forgot to take a picture of the feet.
Great little pickup from the SVM show in Brizzy. I went into the show hoping for the TKOM, decided to come out with this beauty instead - had never seen on in person till that day, glad I did. Hoping I'll get a chance to visit his store next year
Anybody have any luck with Yoda's storage tub sale on instagram? I managed to get something special.. pics coming next week!
