Gargamel Lucky Bags 2020 (there will be spoilers)

Smashface walking Hedoran? Gid?

 

It’s meant a lot to me to be able to be the first to share a bag with you guys here two years in a row. Cheesy as it may seem, I’m honored.

So, without further ado(nonsense), I present my Gargamel Lucky Bag 2020:

The new standard Tetran figure looks so much better with paint!

 

This makes me so excited, ahhhhh!!! Painted Tetran!! Maybe there will be a GID Painted Smashface too?

It's been a few years since I've bought a lucky bag and I'm excited to pick one up this year. I'm not really buying many new toys nowadays, so I'm also happy to help support rotofugi where I can.

I bought the bag yesterday before seeing @Spaceman Yells post of pics of the contents of a bag (thanks for that, btw). Now I'm even more excited! Bags look like they are gonna be amazing this year! I love that Hedo.

 

@Spaceman Yells Thanks for sharing. That bag is amazing and was enough to get me off the fence. I just ordered from Rotofugi.

Definitely didn't mean anything negative towards RF, I'm not that busted up about a $10 difference.

ALSO: THAT BAG IS BEAUTIFUL! I'm excited as hell for mine.

 

I'm not talking from having any inside knowledge but I'm sure MPH, Rotofugi, et al could all probably use the support. Lulubell online still exists but the physical store does not which is sad. I've been to MPH and Rotofugi and in my opinion it is so nice to have a physical store to be able to visit and talk shop with like minded people.

 

Is Super 7 carrying the bags this year? Not to play favorites, but they are the good folks who provide this board for our use.

They closed down last year if I can recall, there was a lot of discussion, but mostly on IG

 

This was off my radar until a week or so back, when @xSuicide Squadx mentioned it. It bums me out. I never got to go out there & visit, but their social media made it sound like they had pretty regular events where collectors & artists could come together, show off new purchases, talk about the hobby, and just have a good time. I was always super jealous that I didn't have something like that closer to me. I guess there are just too few of us, spread out too far...

Guessing there will be a painted Hedoran like past GIDs?
Glad I held onto my GID blanks from past bags.

Paint makes the Tetran work for me, any doubts gone
Sort of a quasi-cyber geometric vibe at least to my eye. Cool.

Still amazed at how Kiyoka can sculpt with the knowledge of how paint can/will transform the sculpt.

 

Very impressed with that bag! The paint really gives the unpainted tetran a whole new life!

 

Got my tracking, should get mine by friday!!! Maybe sooner if I'm lucky

 

‘Tis sadly true. But back to the bags!!! I don’t even collect Ggml past their fighters, but holy shit, that new painted Tetran is PERFECT.

 

I've heard of many different colorways of a lot of the figures this year. That being said, let's see more pics.

PS - Did Max get another tattoo this year to increase his luckiness?
