Gargamel Lucky Bags 2019 (there will be spoilers)

best year in a while! i like the surprise factor
I also was incredibly lucky this year in getting what i wanted compared to the last few years. wow- is this my 10th or 11th year of LB's?

 

I'm pretty sure the clear dark green is in addition to the other vendor bots.

I actually like the clear light yellow- reminds me of the yellowed color of vintage clear vinyl.

 

Clear dark green vendor bot exists. It seems to be a chase version, though.

 

Very happy with this year's bag! I had no hopes or thoughts at all of scoring the Mibora - figured it was out of my reach.. opened the bag to see a very nice surprise

Either there was a lot more unpainted/painted miborahs this year or more people have been able to share photos this time around.

 

Yeah I was thinking the same. Lot more Miborahs this year by the looks of things.

 

Has anyone seen any other blank Miborahs? I think I MIGHT have seen another one other than mine, but I’m not sure...

Sometimes I'm surprised, upset, entertained, disappointed by the amount of bickering that goes on in this forum. Then I remember that we are all a bunch of grown men and women collecting toys and it all makes sense.

I bet. The good thing about this place is that you can go back in time and see for yourself. Even in the 5ish years I've been here I've seen a decline in the feistiness. Many a "PM'd" go unchecked on a regular basis these days.

 

So who is still waiting on a bag? I don’t think Japan has gotten theirs yet.

 

I have one at my PO Box from Rotofugi. If a package doesn't fit in my box I have to pick it up during business hours which are 8-230. I work from 8-4, you can see my dilemma. Looks like I'll be late to work tomorrow.

 

Rough. Sorry man. That has to be torture.

 

@Brooklyn_Vinyl that's so frustrating. I'm a little glad I'm not alone, though. My PO takes signature for all international packages and I'm never home during the day, so most of my Saturdays involve a 2-hour line at the post office. Got the failed delivery notification today

 

GUH...

 

At least you didn't get the " it was delivered " notification after the PO put your package in the wrong parcel locker. (Happened to me 3-4 years ago). I told the postmaster I didn't get my package but all he kept saying was " It was delivered .. it was delivered .. like a parrot. "
( Package arrived a month or so later .. it had been put in wrong locker and been sitting in an office somewhere)

 

Wow @carlisle60 sounds like you're lucky you got it at all

 

Nothing new to report here. I did get the painted GID Bakobaso and Zodiac Pig in my bag, so that was a nice surprise. I almost never pull anything 'rare' in lucky bags.

I thought all of the offerings were very strong again this year, but the Bako is the real standout to me. The light metallic paints over GID seem like something that could have come from M1.

I also thought it was a nice touch to add unpainted versions of all figures (versus last year, where you could get either an unpainted GID Garudan or the painted T/O Garudan). Kind of a nod to the early LBs, which had both painted and unpainted versions of figures. Also worth noting: this is only the second time that we have seen a normal production unpainted Bako- the last one was in the 2006 LB (unpainted orange).

 

Have deliveries made to your office/work?
I did that for years without a hassle from the mailroom.
