I am not sure actually. All I know is that the base is a clear with heavy silver glitter by looking at the feet. It's also GID and double pour. The paint app? Magical.
This is why Kiyoka blows my mind with his paint. How does he even start something like this? It has to be planned out, but at the same time it feels spontaneous. It's all clear paint as the glow and glitter has to show through, so there's little room for overlap and error. It's ultimate steady hand and airbrush precision.
Every now and then I go through this thread starting from page one. This is the first time I noticed that the hedoran in the front left is actually a fancy hair hedoran. Does anyone know more about this figure?
gargamel standing hedorah Very underappreciated sculpt in my opinion is the fancy hair Bwana’s doing?
I believe the Fancy Hair is a Bwana head sculpt. I have one in a glow green that you wouldn't even know was glow based off the vinyl color.
It was working last time I used it. Don't think this is the right thread for forum function questions though. Maybe check FAQs and Announcements.
Here are a couple amazing custom Tokyo figures painted by @hellopike as well as my family of Tokyo Zagorans.
Tangent but yes...super nice guy...great painter. Rad versions!! I never understood why Gargamel didn't do more of that colorway.
I'm in the process of redoing the basement / toy displays, so the picture isn't great, but my wife got me my first Gargamel for our Anniversary recently! It wasn't intentional, but I must have mentioned the clear green enough that she took note, ha!
nice choice! This reminds me that I don’t currently have a full sized Deathra in my collection. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled, but as these figures get older, and the releases less frequent than they once were they are getting expensive (like everything else).
Agree all around here. Great ggml start I have most of the lucky bag dethras and that coke green is a standout in the lineup also, super fun to make mixed parts with them (not the ones with guts tho)
View this post on Instagram Last Fall I started to move my office upstairs to give my wife my old space for a home office. I was super bummed at first after spending so much time setting things up and finally feeling satisfied with the display. After several months I've finally been able to get back to that feeling with the new Gargamel and friends setup! Not much space for the new bags but I'm sure I'll find some space
