Just noticing a couple postings about Creature Bazaar happening at the Glendale Civic center in April. Here's a link from Bwana's website. http://www.gravytoys.com/gravy-logs/creature-bazaar Looks like a pretty stellar lineup. Just wish it was in the Bay Area.
Excited for this, whoever's running the show was able to get a lot of the newer, popular toy makers from Tokyo. I wonder what the turnout will be as I don't see a lot of people traveling overseas or cross country for this.
I think this event will have a great turn out! I know quite a few people from the East that will be attending. Not Far East but at least east coast :p
I am beyond stoked to be both going to and participating as a vendor in this event. Bringing some really fun stuff too so I can’t wait
i'll have all three of my figures available at this but since i wont have more than a few of each hopefully they sell fast so i can shop for toyz wid my BROZ
I'll be there, doing a booth like Dcon. Small art prints paired with a lot of fun toys. I'm blown away by all the artists attending, it's going to be crazy fun. Hopefully people come out or I'm going to be buying way too much.
This is going to be so sick. Been saving for it for a few months now. Could be the new dcon if everything goes well
Quang and Brandon really went all out for this one, and I fully believe they thought of the collectors first, and who they’d be psyched to see. Very happy and privileged to have Lulubell be a part of this. Excited to see everyone.
Totally agree. The best shows are the ones that come from a place of pure passion and love. Stuff I'm most excited for: - MVH showings (of course) - Neckface has always been a really interesting artist for me but his stuff has been REALLY hard to get if you aren't local - Meeting Dennis and getting to buy a Kumon (if I'm lucky enough) from the man himself - Seeing Alex Pardee's first soft vinyl toy in person (I kickstarted a one-off) - Hoping Aaron (Retroband) brings his capsule machine for his minis, trading with people was fun - Rucking Fotten show exclusive design - Shaking Cory's (Science Patrols) hand for everything he has done for western vinyl, that dude is a saint - Hoping Florian Bertmer brings something really interesting like his wooden ouija board stuff from back in the day
I'll be there as well! I'll be sharing a booth with Obsessed Panda and Planet 3 Toys! I'll be making some limited run Lulus as well as bringing the standard calico ones and some blank DIYs to sell, and some Kaiju Sommelier Customs one-off kaiju.
@Brooklyn_Vinyl any chance you can relocate this thread to Muton's Minute subforum? Please & thank you. *I'll see my persnickety ass out now
That's a good call @smurph Correct me if I'm wrong @animator @toothaction @ultrakaiju but I think a mod has to do the moving?
Looking like a good time--exhibitor list so wild it actually put a hold on my buying, and friends from all over flying in. This will be my first weekend show on the west coast
@Brooklyn_Vinyl Done and done, guys. No problem. Sounds like a top notch event. I already mentioned it over in the Hinterlands thread (earlier than this, so I guess it was before this was noticed), but I am quite excited to see what might come to the UK show as a preview.
