COOP obviously deserves these toys for the awesome artwork he did for Shig. No one should blame him for posting pictures of those Nags. But a little harsh to fireback on Ben for his resin toys. A bit like like Donald Trump slapping the homeless dude.

Ben, not getting the toys you want sucks. But complaining about toys that you don't want? who gives a fuck?

So, I do see a point in what Prometeum says, but what I don't understand is why he's so upset with COOP. I would do the same (show them off) if I just had received them. Or after, whenever...

So what if there's all this hype around Nags? I don't think it's COOP's fault. Don't like a toy? Don't buy it. Also, I think all this flame against only contributes to the hype.

To defend Prometheum5 just a bit (I don't know him from jake but I can't help wanting to jump in when someone is getting pummeled), there are collectors here who are more reticient about posting some of their collection because they're afraid it may come across as gloating, bragging, what-have-you. I'm not saying that's what Coop is doing at all - he's been collecting long enough to not need to prove his legit passion - but others (and I include myself in that group) may choose not to show our toys b/c it can come off wrong. All I'm saying is that Prometheum5 does have a legit perspective that isn't necessarily based in jealousy.

As for myself and others, we recognize that collectors on this board represent a range of income levels - for some people, cost is no object when it comes to buying toys on secondary market. For others, just buying one $50.00 toy a month is a stretch. All I'm saying is that some people think about those things before they post what toys they've got. You're not wrong for posting what you've got as long as your intent isn't to rub peoples' noses in it.

What's more bothersome is the hypocrisy that exists on this board that if you're a favored artist you pretty much get a free pass to engage in behavior that a civilian would be savaged for (and in some cases have).

Hey, I like Coop's art and love his personal taste in stuff. Never met the dude but he sure seems like a decent bloke and I enjoy reading his posts and hopes he sticks around. But he definitely gets the star treatment 'round here. (never did understand why kozik was run-off the board; in my dealings with him he was always 100% stand-up).

FWIW.

Oh, yeah, the Nag. At first I really liked the sculpt but so much hype actually turns me off to a toy. Don't own any and haven't even tried to get one.
