I think there's a difference, although I can't find the words right now to explain it, between posting pictures of stuff that you've acquired over a period of time - I seriously enjoy looking at the vintage collections, Anraku, etc - stuff I'll never own - versus posting pics of a toy that was just released that many people are clamoring for (I'm not one of them) but that very few can afford and/or own.

I'm not attacking Coop in the least; only saying that Prometheus5 has a legit point which, IMHO didn't warrant the attack on him.

mmm, I dunno.....by this reasoning pictures of new micro-release RxH should also not be posted, and the "What you got in the mail thread" should only include pics of stuff people arent "clamoring" for - which would make it a pretty boring thread. I'm only human and I get jealous too - but I'd much rather see pics than not. Thats one of teh reasons I come to ths board. If it were all pics of stuff that everyone has...well, it would be dull

the tough thing is that people can't say what they want around here anymore. if you say something against the grain, people come after you.
i don't have a side here per se btw. mostly because i don't like this toy and i don't care in general.

Agreed. IMO Coops post is cool and what more legitimate person to post pics of Nags in a Nag thread than someone who worked hard on designing the packaging and colorway for all the right reasons and was sent the toys as a thank you. Sure beats someone posting up an expensive toy they paid out of the ass for on ebay.

I agree Ed. I wanted to comment on all this but really I don't care about the toy either, and if I truly spoke my mind like I use to here it would only start a flame session which honestly I don't have the energy for anymore.

the nag phenomenon is very strange to me.
there are a good number of solid folks here who don't give a shit for the figure for various reasons. and yet it still managed to fetch premium prices.
i wonder if the current prices will be sustainable when more & more folks finally own one.

There are also a good number of solid folks that camn actually see some appeal in it and even more douchebags/sheeple that latch onto it because its the latest 'must have' or see it as a flippable commodity . . . obviously between 'em there's enough $$$ to stimulate the market.

Shit's getting old, I'd rather just talk about the toy but I guess that's stupid of me. Who comes to this board to discuss the positive aspects of toys and collecting anymore? Before a snide "what positive aspects are left?" remark hits I'll answer with a simple "plenty" but that's a different conversation I guess.

Thanks COOP for showing pics of these with such great detail, I enjoy seeing them even if I don't have those ones. Keep "braggin' and boastin'" please because some of us enjoy the pics.*
