Two new additions to the family: Slowly putting together the UFO set minis: It will be really difficult to source the Mothra larva, and well, I have never seen the actual UFO pieces for sale loose. I love a good challenge though.
@djkemp - Dave, it's brutal out there. I had previously lost both of those minis on YJA within the last year. Now, who grabbed this bagged treasure off M early this morning? This version of Angie is on super soft and squishy vinyl, and most of them seem to have indented chest joints.
@deafmetal That one was on and gone before I even saw it! Nice example. The hunt is definitely getting tough, I've still got some fairly common ones to find in decent condition but i am heading into the very expensive very hard to find zone, but that's all part of the fun right?!
Been re-hosting images lost by TinyPic shutting down, couldn't find the one of my collection so I took a new one!
@XVivaHateX Thank you very much, I can't actually squeeze another mini Bullmark in there! Although I did just realise there is one non Bullmark mini in my cabinet, if anyone can spot it!??
I don't recognize this fellow: Or the green, glowey looking... hero? ... on the other end of the same row, but I'd hardly call either of those worthy guesses, ignoramus that I am! Please to educate me sir, I look forward to a mild patch of embarrassment.
Thats bullmark aribunta. I believe you’re right about the other one though, based on process of elimination alone. I don’t think that green hero looking guy is a bullmark, get him outta there!
@toothaction @gazpacho I'm afraid if I removed that green hero I would be removing a mini Bullmark. He is the mini Bullmark manga version of Mirrorman.
@djkemp Green Mirrorman is prototype mirrorman and I think he is a pachi, though Bullmark did make a standard version
Sorry @scobot he is a mini Bullmark, he is in the Bullmark Story book and it helps he has Bullmark stamped on his foot The only thing i was unsure of was his name, i've heard him called manga version, pilot version and proto version so i'm not sure which is right if any? Pic below of page from A Bullmark Story book.
@scobot no worries, maybe there is a pachi version?? I would hope the Bullmark book would be right, mine definitely has Bullmark on the foot. Also I noted that on Mandarake they call him Pilot Mirrorman, however more confusingly he looks like the Manga version not the Pilot episode version, both shown below. Consider me baffled!
My word Dave, what a shelf!! I am in awe of those minis, such dedication and love, something I can truly appreciate. There are so many fantastic beasts there (and fellas) which I just know are a real challenge to track down, so you've earned some deep respect and admiration for putting those together. I also have to admit to sort of loving the Tsuburarya bias, ha! That is a really nice find on that Orange Jigira. I was going to suggest that might be the culprit, but then I thought you might be trying to be sneaky here, with a Marusan in there somewhere.
Thankyou very much, the Tsuburaya bias is more obvious than i thought, i just can't get enough of those Ultra Kaiju minis! One day i will branch out further but i've still got many to track down, however I have already spied a few Red Baron/Mach Baron minis i really like the look of.
Sadly not mine but i saved these images a while back from an auction, never seen them before so thought they may be of interest to a few people.
