Someone contacted me and told me that they have a variant that I don’t have and they’re going to send it to me, just because.. I haven’t been able to find any of the variants that I’m missing for a decent price and out of the blue someone just decides to send one to me. Yessssss!

I just received the latest Pushead/Usugrow Rebel Captain in the mail from Secret Base. I now have a total of 20 Rebel Inks/Rebel Captains, FUCK YEAH!
Also, I requested Halloween off of work so that I could take my son trick-or-treating for the first time. He is going to be a lion and we are currently in the process of teaching him how to roar! FUCK YEAH!
Yeah it's an expensive trip and the events in the convention are $$$ but this will probably be my last and only chance to ever see some of the old Showa-Era actors in person, so I'm going. There is also a Tsuburaya-only Wonder Festival as the main floor, so it'll be interesting to see what goods are available.

My girlfriend's best friend has a little daughter, and a while ago I ordered a Cometdebris shirt and GID blank Oni Kid for her. Got to gift them this weekend and it made me so happy seeing her slap the stickers on her stuff and take Oni Kid on his first adventures. She's made a playhouse out of boxes, so he lives in there where he can glow in the dark, and her dad has had to make up a voice for the little guy so she can talk to him.

Booked our tickets to Japan for spring. Can’t believe it’ll be my fourth time out there, never thought I’d live past thirty years old, much less go to Japan even once.

Feb 2020 for me. It will also be my fourth trip. It's been too long - two years. I'd go every year if I could! Edit: Fifth time I miscounted.
I'm almost 40 and still have not been to Japan. Something must be done. However, in my "Fuck Yeah!" of the day, I have finally paid off all loans from grad school. I graduated in 2015, and got my practicing license in 2017, so you can imagine... Anyways, next big step is to make 2020 the year I first go to Japan!
