I bought the complete collection of Megaman and Megaman x games to play through all of them. Im frustrated to say the least.
@Urk I can’t play any of the nes mega man games because they throw me into a fit a rage almost instantly. @vinyl.zealot did the preorders for ps5 go quick? I’ll grab one most likely about a year into its lifespan and cherry pick the titles. It’s what I’ve done for ps3 & 4. I usually wait for the next installment of my favorite franchise. I doubt there will be a last of us 3 though... I loved playing the game, but it was so bleak. I would have been happy with it ending before Santa Barbara... that said I’d play a game that was just various encounters set in that world if they made one. I Loved the combat and level design.
PS5 preorders came and went yesterday. Such a bumbled communication from Sony after saying they’d be up later in the week and then retailers put them up minutes later. Bummed to have missed out and will just have to wait until I get lucky and they come back in regular stock on 11/12 (if they do).
Pre orders went very fast. Currently jammin Minoria, Bloodstained and I'll be getting started on Ori and the Will of the Wisps tonight or tomorrow. Sprinkled with some Ghost of Tsushima and THPS.
I got the dark souls remaster on sale recently. Man, that game is just a masterpiece and this version holds up really well
Thats how I feel also. I would have been good with it ending at the farmhouse. I loved the combat, the world design, and just at the technical achievement level. The story I had mixed feelings about but it didnt ruin the game for me as it did others. Still feel its an extremely solid game.
Gonna pick up Mario 3D All-Starts today. I know it's a cheap gimmick for Nintendo to re-release this, and to do the rotten artificial scarcity move. But I never finished Sunshine or Galaxy, so...
THPS1 and 2 Remaster is awesome. I played it heavy the weekend but havent been able to get at it because busy since. I had a blast starting to get a feel for controls and combos again, and can't wait to continue the journey of the game.
I was at Target before work and picked up Mario 3D All Stars. Is it a gimmick to make it a limited release game? Of course. But I've never played any of the Mario games since Part 3 on the NES ages ago, so I'm looking forward to wasting some time with it tonight!
well Mario 64 I hope blows your mind then. It was such a fun game back in the mid 90's I personally haven't really played a Mario story line game after that one. I would get confused what was and wasnt a true mario game since so many freaking games started to come after that.
Just finished up Link's Awakening. What a hoot that was to play a game from childhood with refreshed visuals. Really enjoyed that one. Now on to Breath of the Wild. Looks like it could be the best game on the switch and perhaps the best Zelda game ever. We'll see!
Definitely a nice nostalgia trip. I 100%ed the 2 tours the weekend it came out but haven't gone back much since. I'd like to unlock the second Skinner deck.
I've been playing Hades the past couple of days which is one of the best rogues I've played in ages. Tight controls, awesome style and a pretty great buff system. Mario 3D All-Stars just came in the mail, cannot wait to play Mario 64 for the first time in decades! Also don't forget to redeem the sweet pin set: https://mario.nintendo.com/missions Also I wish they would release THPS for Switch :*(
THPS was such a great time waste. And props to Nintendo, they've Hermes'd themselves into reward based consumption. and man, those pins are so damn cool.
Chipping away at Bravely Default and preparing to invade Hyrule Castle in Botw. BD is taking a lot longer cause of the addicting battle system and job grinding lol.
I have it on my 3DS and the file got wiped about 2hrs from the end of the game (CIA file), Id spent so much time building my jobs and the loss was such a hit that I havent been able to get back to it and finish such a gem of 4 character job based systems.
Mario 64 is an ok game. The controls suck serious ass though. Would have been nice if they updated those rather than give us a lazy port.
Finally found the 900th korok in BOTW. At 98.75%, and all that's keeping me from 100% is pictures in the compendium/some useless armor upgrades. May finally be time to start Mario Odyssey.
I loved THPS1&2! Finally unlocked Officer Dick, I think its a shame that its so hard to unlock it and comes with no challenges... Now I need to give that game a rest. Moved to Uncharted 4 (never played an Uncharted before, I am one of those guys who bought a PS4 to make up for lack of social contact since the pandemic).
I'll have you all know that I'm ranked #25 globally for speed runs on the Streets (San Francisco) level of the new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2! I know...I know, it's very impressive!
Started AC Valhalla to eat up my time until Cyberpunk, so far it’s pretty good. A few small glitches and it feels a bit clunky at times but nothing that takes me out of it. I really want to play Yakuza: Like A Dragon but I despise turn based combat so I’m really on the fence because I’ve loved all the other Yakuza games. I’m not enjoying a PS5
I grew up in a coastal tourist town where if you wanted if you wanted to play video games you went to the arcades along the seafront (revealing my horribly-advanced age). I could finish Strider on a single 10p piece, which is still my best claim to fame. I never really got into console gaming but my better half got me a PS4 last year. I picked up Cuphead recently on a whim because I thought the graphics looked incredible. Sh*t, that game is hard as hell!!
Balenciaga’s lookbook/video game for SS21, so good. Seeing Eliza Douglas in knights armor is everything. Waiting for cyberpunk 2077 so I can finally stop playing the Witcher
