Jaycee Chan (Jackie Chan's son) and rising star Jessica C in their first movie together, have their US premier tin Monterey Park, and Arcadia.
I've seen two Jaycee films now. Both good but neither big screen worthy as this one also seems. Got my eye on AMC Atlantic though as well as CVG on Western for my Korean flicks. Looking forward to Flying Swords of Dragon Gate getting it's US IMAX 3D release come November.
found this behind the scene video for Double Trouble, looks like the beginning of the summer movie season...i like the big screen ... makes everything more exciting... favorite Jessica C quote "Every time I got to kick them in the balls, that was fun." Flying Swords of Dragon Gate will be epic! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfqYE2c8 ... ature=plcp
By all means, don't let me stop you nuts! I shot that pick in Newport Beach (of all places). Where the 55 fwy ends and turns into whatever street that is headed South towards the sandy beaches of the OC...
I plan on being there. Looks like a lot of fun. Was there last night for a proper rum-soaked send off... Bartenders and drinks are great. Where else can you walk up to the bartender and say "I don't think there's enough alcohol in this drink" and they respond with "okay, I'll take care of that." A few minutes later bring you back your drink that is 99% full of booze and a splash of mixer. Notice there's no question mark at the end... that's because it's fuckin' rhetorical.
Mishka grand opening, Hester Street Fair, and Mr. Clement opening at TAG. All going down this Saturday. What will you do? I think i'll be checking out TAG early then heading over to Hester. http://mishkanyc.com/bloglin/ http://www.hesterstreetfair.com/hollywood/ http://www.toyartgallery.com/2012/08/15/mr-clements-lapin-world-tour-2012-la-coming-to-tag/
Hello all, I will be in LA 23rd September to 2nd October and would like to know any interesting places & possibly events to visit. These places are already on my list: - Mishka - Giant Robot 1 & 2 - Anime Jungle - TAG (+ anniversary show) - Q Pop Tokusatsu Show Feel free to suggest me more cool things/stores/events to see. Thanks!
Giant Robot Biennale 3 opens on September 23rd at The Japanese American National Museum. The expansive show features a gallery of eight emerging artists along with a customized vinyl figure collection.
Trust me when I say this is going to be the craziest, zaniest, most gorgeous, over the top show that TAG has ever had. The things I've seen will make a grown man weep.
