Thank you! He's been on my (dream) wish list since the Grumbletoy remake which I didn't buy. I think I got a "deal" on him, even if I paid full price. And yeah, thers is something screwy going on with my mail delivery lately but I called the P.O. and went today to complain. I've seen "Notice Left" on two other tracking reports listed on days that no mail was delivered. So, I gotta know, did they deliver mail and someone snagged it all from my box? Or are they just not delivering the mail? Trying to remain calm because the people I see at the P.O. are always really friendly and helpful. Still, I get the feeling that they all know what's going on (and I'm not the only one complaining) but just won't admit there is a known problem with a particular carrier.
The crawdaddy crayfish lobster monster is so amazing! I was contemplating a gashapon version, just to suppress my curiosity, but I know that's just a diversion.
It's Ebirah from Godzilla vs the Sea Monster and worth some pretty big bucks, I might add whoa, we posted that at the same time - talk about same wave length on toys!!!
For some reason the Chameleon guy always reminds me of the 60's Spiderman cartoon I watched as a kid. Specifically- the Green Goblin.
Thanks! Yeah they have so much character in them, totally birthed in the 1970's- it's the kind of toy you can completely remember from your youth. Wild paint schemes like the multi colored fades on Cobraman, crazy details like the raised bumps on Chameleon's face or the cobra head on Cobraman's arm. So many things about them to love! I'm very happy
Damn, what a box that was. Talk about major buys right there, from none to two ju8mbos in one fantastically orgasmic leap. Really impressed by the condition of both your guys Lixx. I notice in particular that the Giant Cobraman doesn't have the nose/mouth rub that is so common on these figures. The paint on both is still bright and great. Jealoussssssssss. (<- yes I make pathetic puns )
Those color gradients on the Cobraman's chest are amazing. The silver/grey around the eyes are more emotional than an actual color scheme. I'm sure my face gets that way when I drop freshly washed laundry on the floor before I can get it into the dryer. Really, so much work put into a kid's toy? Excellent.
Ebirah? 500-Million-Year-Old Sea Creature With Limbs Under Its Head Unearthed (Marusan logo found under tail section)
Neither can I, it was just the perfect storm of events. Ha! Yeah thankfully I'm not a completist. The only other Giant I like is the guy with antlers and big green eyes, yellowish body, not sure of his name? I'd really like to find the standards of both these guys for a decent price. I like that photo too and I usually hate all my photos! I always have the shot in my mind but can never pull it off with my Panasonic point and shoot, but sometimes you get lucky ( and have good subject matter).
