Very cool figure. I agree wholeheartedly - I love the dino/kaiju crossover. I think that is why I love the Bullmark King Zaurs so much. Of course, you can trace this all the way back to Goji himself, and so many along the way! (I also realized how good everyone's pics look and how bad mine always are. They seem so good on my phone, but when blown up on a computer screen... And here I thought my iphone 6 took good pics. Ugh!)
Good score ultrakaiju had something in the head that catch your attention, I think it´s the classic style colors (the contrast of de orange and green). Congrats!
Thanks! Was that the Eleking from Mandarake a little while back? Man, I was so angry and kicking myself for just missing him, when I gave it a moment's thought too many. But I am glad [if it is that one] that someone nice adopted him. Love it, a great Bullmark, cool character, and I love this colour version. I also remember doing some research once on a toy with that same "T" mark that was being discussed, but I can't recall if I was ever able to identify it for sure. I will have to do some re-reading. I just love those pachi wind-ups though, what an amazing find. Even if the figure wasn't so fantastic - which it completely is - the box art alone is a treasure. Great to see it. Though now it means I have still more toy hunting to do.
I feel the same - the orange / green combo works so well. No, the Eleking is from YJ. I have never shopped Mandarake. Bullmark Gorbagos - the love child of a rock and a rooster. I love how it looks like it just devoured a goat or something with the red all around the mouth.
Thanks, guys, and congrats, DW. Its funny to put it next to another figure and see just how large its hands and feet are. Bullmark Earthtron. I always liked this color scheme better than the brown one, but this also seems to be harder to find. And some pre-cleaning shots of both, trying to get the flash right.
Congrats Rakiko nice piece, besides I was watching on the card that was made by Bandai. I remember watching a few episodes of the anime, but the characters suffer a lot.
Thanks. Yeah Bandai made Hutch and his sister Aya...they are pretty rare and expensive too. I took 6 months to pay that beauty by sending part of payment by month
Finally got the time to take more pics of the giant-sized JJ. I just can't get good shots! Really thought the iphone would take better pics. Pretty upset at the inability to get anything in focus.
That giant JJ is cool. Didn't even know about those or more precisely haven't actively looked for one. Giant + vintage= always cool no matter what. I don't know anything about iphones but I hear they take really nice shots. Maybe it's the lighting? Maybe get it in a more lit up area and turn the flash off?
Happy New Year Everyone! Here are the recent additions to my collection: Thanks to Bryce and a huge thanks to Rogan. Been wanting to pick up a Gabara for awhile now and now that I have one in hand, I love it!
Excellent trio Paul! And even nicer that they came through excellent SB linkages. I really love those dinos, and am always kicking myself for passing on Gabara. They look like they are all set to do some giant monster rampaging on Duplo tower.
You've been on a role lately Myles. That big JJ is a dream toy for me, so rad. Got a small box the other day with one long time want, enterprise Big Eye also this kanegon finger puppet
Congrats XVivaHateX my favorite was the Big Eye amazing piece an photo; you can see very well the colors, the details and texture of the figure.
Wow - I love the Big Eye. I've wanted that one for a long time. I finally got the Enterprise Taigon that sort of matches it but the Big Eye is the one to get.
Oh man, that Enterprise Big Eye is killing it! Seriously amazing toy, I love red vinyl base nearly as much as flesh, and the colour choice for paints is perfect. I have always loved the sculpt, but this particular version makes me weak at the knees. Fifty vintage high fives on that score! And the fingerpuppets are completely underrated and adorable. It is a shame that they never took off more to become popular (so that we could subsequently have more to chase down now). Thankfull Bearmodel did some versions as well, but man, I really like the vintage fellas. Another great pickup, congrats man!
Swoon! Digging your seizure-caps, too. And way to go, Paul! So good to see you plastic hunting again.
I always loved this guy, but who wouldn't fall for a giant Cicada monster? Straight out from his encounters with Ultraseven and the Garrison, a vintage Bullmark Alien Bell. (forgive the poor shadows bungling up these pics, but I had to snag the light whilst I had it) Some more pics over in the Bullmark thread.
