Re: Updated 5/9 Standard Deathra Next Up Sludge Demon I agree the wings seem a bit out of place. Did you attach a doll eye to the skull insert? The head looks sinister and excited all at the same time, my favorite part. The guts are pained great too.

Re: Updated 5/9 Standard Deathra Next Up Sludge Demon Yeah there's a cat eye attached to the skull inside. Also if you look at his nose in some of the darker photos, you can see some purple/blue pearls, and they don't show in these photos, but there are some green pearls as well. Those are painted on the inside of the skull, so they really pop when the light shines through but in the dark it's just the plain blue, you see on the outside. To be honest when I started I was going to paint a devilman colorway, but I think Paul has been killing the mockbats, and I just wanted to do something original. I just stuck with the red, because I liked the heavy contrast, but I can see what you guys are saying. Thanks for the insight.
Re: Updated 5/9 Standard Deathra Next Up Sludge Demon I think it looks pretty rad. I agree about the wings though, color kinda comes out of nowhere and it seems a bit odd. Maybe they'd work better if you shaded them a bit with some black and found some other place to add red? Or just painted them the same dark color you used on the hands and feet? I don't know. Just ideas. Nice work, dude.

Re: Updated 5/20 RxH Devilman Yeah they did the 80's DM, but never the 70's. Looking at it now, I have to give it just a couple more sprays, to tidy up the colors.

Re: Updated 6/12 Barom Borg for Pey and Devi Head 2.0 Thanks Pey, I'm glad you like it, I'll have it finished and in the Mail by tomorrow. Updated with a newly painted RxH Devilman fig. I wasn't happy with they way the old one looked so I stripped it, and did a repaint. I mixed all the paints I needed ahead of time, so the colors would all properly match, and I changed the red stripes on his chest and back, to look exactly as they did in the Manga. I also painted the red tips under his eyes.
