So, not upcoming but rather something old and overlooked (by me at least). I just finished watching ドロヘドロ and was smitten by the gyoza fairy in the final episode. Now SB's toy makes much more sense, and I find it charming. Context IS everything.
Dorohedoro is awesome!! Threezero made/is making amazing toys of the show too. I got Shin and it was immediately one of my favorite toys in my collection

If anyone is brave enough to buy the SB "Good Choice" boxes please post your results so we can share in your triumph or misery!
I'm really tempted. Are these something they've offered in the past? Any hint on what sort of items might be included?
I thought about the small bag, but chances seem more than low for some Pus, and with all those large scale figures, bobble heads and x-rays they've been flooding the market with the last few years... Yes, I'll probably regret this, lol
Yeah, SB has done lucky bags in the past, and they were largely awful - but maybe that's just my opinion. Left-over shirts, etc - very much a traditional "year end clearing sale" rather than a box of treasures. However, based some text in the email this year, my guess is that the two upper price points will have a medium or giant figure in them, with the most expensive box maybe having two? Along with some other assorted crap nobody wants to buy.
I was thinking the same thing. If the top price point had two big scale figures that would be a pretty good deal with the current state of the yen. EDIT: I do think multiple big scale figures is a fair bet considering the amount of lotteries that were reopened in recent history... makes me think they may still have some overstock they're looking to unload.
Yeah, that 100,000 yen box better have two big scale figures! But you might just end up with an entire wardrobe of clothing that may or may not fit!
Picked one of these guys up on a recent Tokyo trip, via Hiddy's latest venture, ex-ATM, during a visit to try his Octopus Balls *schoolboy snigger* Super-friendly dude who works with Hiddy said it would have to be shipped as they are all personalised, with the buyers name somehow printed onto the fan. I was sure he said that they would be only available from the actual store, but I guess I may have misunderstood or they figured that very few guys that go for a $5.00 snack would probably blow $100 on a toy (except us crazy tourists! ), or tmaybe the ordering/production/shipping individual units on demand would be a logistical nightmare. Curious to see how the names are printed, and it'll still be a nice memento of the visit.
Possibly a hint at what's in the mid-high tier Good Choice boxes? View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram
Perhaps, but I found it odd they didn't add any details or release info in the captions (maybe they'll add it in later). By my observation promotional shots like these haven't been a form of advance notice—they always seem to publish them the same day the e-mail newsletter goes out for the designated product. Any teasers usually come in the form of more casual photos posted on Hiddy's personal account. Eh... time will tell.
I don't think they've ever made something new for their "lucky bags" in the past - it's always been deadstock. So I agree with Andy. But it would be super cool if there was something new for the folks willing to pay $400-800. Even if I have no idea what you're talking about because I can't see what I'm assuming is an IG-linked pic!
Most definitely wishful thinking on my part as I've decided to roll the dice. Yep! For those who can't see IG-linked photos (courtesy of @secretbase.osaka on Instagram):
No problem. Thanks a lot! Just got my winning e-mail. I'll share an update with contents once it arrives.
A couple of unboxing photos of my Good Choice III. Will open up the Astro Boys later to confirm which variants they are and share here. Thankfully there's only one clothing item that isn't my size, but since it's a parka it may still be of use. After adding everything up it appears to be a retail value of about 150,000yen.
