TT SB/Balzac event for Halloween...

does anybody know how much the gid set are being sold for at TT?

 

I heard it was going for $110

 

we need someone to retun from the event and dish the dirt...BOOM!

 

i know it is a fat-chance,,,but i am hoping that maybe hiddy brought some usugrows to sell....

 

$110, Hiddy was a no-show so no customs or HPs. Weak.

I also heard that some people camped out for this event. I guess you can count on only people that are in NYC to get this set.

 

Or have someone who lives outside of the US order it direct and have it shipped to them and then forward it on the the US.

 

Pogue has 1st dibs on the GID set - if he passes I'll list it on the Sale forum. I only went to hook him up with something - I don't collect SB.

 

Somehow I doubt that Pogue will NOT pass up on this

 

I thought the bloom was off the rose for Pogue and Secret Base.

The new flyer's for this event made no mention of Hiddy.

 

I'm here. no hiddy but balzac and misfit roadies milling about. lame. but they are selling the gid and obake. no dirt yet on why hiddy was a no show.

I wouldve been more stoked to score a pirate or usugrow figure for sale.

I think Hiddy needs to make it up to the fans who traveled far and wide to come to this. I would be pissed if I was them.

 

I didn't pay too much attention to who was there, mainly though because I wasn't going myself. But yeah, if u were expecting Hiddy to be there, and he wasn't, then that would have been a definite downer - but, I genuinely would have been stoked to meet Balzac.

I hope that some of teh East Coast crew got to hang out tho - for me meeting the people behind the boardnames (like at SDCC) is just as Rad as meeting Hiddy or Pushead. And of coutrse the odd suprise exclusive doesn't hurt either.

 

i was there, you basicly explained it spot on. i was definitly disapinted hiddy wasnt there because i didnt realise something had happened with that. and it was definitly awsome to get the toys signed by balzac!

 

I went to SDCC to meet you guys, not the celebrities. I also went tonight to score a Pirate but that didn't happy. So well for wishful thinking. I didn't see anybody, but then again, I didn't know who was from here. I did start asking some hipsters milling about if they were from here but they weren't. so I just recruited them to buy some extra sets
