A vastly different orchard, sis. Wonderful focus, @Kik1202! How long has it taken you to build this massive collection?
Well you must have been working overtime @Kik1202, because that is a lot. Ah, I think we all know the pain very well felt by the bank account with vintage toy collecting. But I am sure there are one or two worse things we could be wasting money on, and if it makes you happy, I say go for it!
...there's also the lion man who has different colored chests, and I believe there's also an unpainted/brown chest version too: and here are the two devil spider variations:
^^ Does that spider on the left have his boots on the wrong feet, or am i seeing things? The other one kinda looks like it too . . . .
Yeah, I forgot about the Lion Man chests! Thanks Charlie. @The Moog I don't have one on hand to check right away, but I am pretty sure that this is factor of there being one boot mold for both feet. So neither are wrong, but they both are. The Tiger Mask guys have sometimes looser boots (you can really see it on the red version on the left), which is why you see so many without them, but on figures like the Bandai KR villains, I think it is actually very difficult to remove the boots without tearing the plastic.
I just got off my arse and had a look at the ones I have. I think you are correct, they certainly do look like they're from the same mold. I've never noticed that before! I love those boots. They are a cool finishing flourish for some incredibly desirable toys . . . .
Love all the old Tiger Mask stuff. Discovered it when I was still really into CMLL and NJPW stuff and just got bit by the Tiger Mask bug from there. So cool
Congrats awesome shelf, the mr. x and z of the bottom, are the vintage made by bullmark or reproductions? Thanks for sharing!
I think that mr z and x of my are the reproduct. I got cheap price as well. Do you know what the difference on the vintage and reproduct of mr x and z except the bag. I do not have chance to compare it.
This is nice to compare on this.I love to see it.The golden mask also have difference version on the tooth. Have anyone got that?
I think the main difference is that the reproductions are very glossy, perhaps the color of the boots is a little different in tone. It may be that reproduction was a bit smaller than the original, it is very common when they make reproductions of vintage figures, but we would need to put them side by side.

Thank you for posting these, seriously! I'm a big Tiger Mask fan, but never actually knew many of those toys existed! Those sculpts are some of my favorite. Makes me want to go back and re-watch the Wrestle Kingdom match from earlier this year.
Last day to pre order this cute buraku taiga It's cool that the new denjin figures do not use the same tiger head sculpts as the denboku jumbo figures
The sofubi video thread had a store in Osaka that had a bunch of Tiger Mask stuff in one of their cases, but I don't know the angry little blue guy or the all white guy with a q-tip head to his right. Anyone able to identify those? Are they part of the Tiger Mask family? EDIT: Sorry, meant to finish the thread before posting, but I went from my phone to laptop, and forgot I wasn't done before posting...both of them show up on page 8! Don't have any yet, but these type 1s will go on my hunt list.
Hi guys, Can anyone explain to me the difference between the various releases? I found different color pocket
I'm no expert, but I'd guess the far left is the Nakajima standard, next looks like the giant Nakajima. The other two are 'Anime' styled versions (Medicom and Marusan). I do know that the first release has two fists, and after that they changed to one fist and one open hand. I have the first version.
I have translate this link https://sofvi.tokyo/221224-1-6-tiger-mask/ and https://sofvi.tokyo/211024-tiger-mask/ I understand there is for Medicom Toy 1969 - 1nd generation Yellow slip and mask and two fits 2012 - Early Type Yellow 2nd Generation and late Type Orange I thing with fist and open hand 2021 - Medium size Type Orange fist and open hand 2022 - Type Yellow I thing with fist and open hand we are waiting for some expert that clarifies ideas
I bought these from Bryce almost 12 years ago so I dont think hes got anymore. There is a guy on facebook selling the tiger cave ruler and tiger mask himself. Look up the group "sofubi buy and sell". I can DM you the link
Thanks just I have already contacted that seller but he does not have the original orange underwear and the shipping costs exceed the cost of the figures
