The painted Chakaijus have been great so far, especially that pink one!

I've got the blue and the green now.. Seems unlikely but am looking for Red and the GID. There should be an unpainted blue, but there should be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow as well....it's good to have goals.

Real oldies, treasures of memories when brown boxes arrived in the mail with these stickers. It meant toy joy enclosed within! I miss Kaiju Taro. Can't believe these are still in original sealed packets!

In-person, it is a lot not-uglier--but these arms could use a makeover. the header art is nice. i wish the arms were made more compact like the header art was done. these things make it hard to put it in with the rest. It's kind of weird and is a chunk, but i do like it. @Roger

It's kind of a bummer...the more i pick it up, the more i like it. Still fugly!
If they did a nice job with the arms, it might be a favorite sculpt. It's got a good vibe. That's what's cool to me about Booska toys--they can be silly and wrong and still charming. There's really nothing like it in my collection--but the arms are just too weird, imo

Even Nostalgic Heroes Booska has super funky arms, but at least he has a small footprint, and others can hang out close.

 

If you swapped the arms, so the thumbs point down, and leave it for a week, I bet when you switched them back they would look more natural.

That's another thing..!--the arms don't turn much at all, so i can't grace the screen with "oh shit!" poses. it makes the whole thing frustrating.
