Great stuff @Gajiaotzu ! On of these days I would have to buy this awesome Arale by Dune before it's too expensive.
Since you like Kitaro, there are some in my recent purchases :

Great stuff man, really nice to see those Bandai Kitaro guys still in their box. Excellent choices on the Bearmodel minis too, I'd love to someday complete my set on those, but Keronia is one of the best ones. Damn, I was looking at those Sunguts Octopi when they popped up, and that was the best version for me too - seems we have very similar tastes. :)

@Gajiaotzu It's a Takeshi "Beat" Kitano Maneki Neko, several versions exist.
@ultrakaiju Thank's man, I'm still looking for the rest of the Bandai Kitaro crew, I took this octopus color version to fit with my Tateobesu shark in te same color :

The pink flashy clear Kraken is even more beautiful, but now I stop the Sunguts sea set, it's a never ending quest and I have to make some choices.

Great purchases @treblekicker ! Love this assortment of pink, clear and GID.
Who made this guy at the right ? @Gajiaotzu just got the same. I presume it's the same maker that the monkey guy at the left. Love them.

@Fedhai that guy was designed by David Horvath and produced by Bwana for the Suns of Brodarr series.

Oh shiz! Damn, that is amazing man. So, so lovely. Congratulatios on finally getting him in, what a wait. The box is just incredible too, what a delightful surprise that they put in that much extra work into the packaging; the effort on this release really shows. I think I am even more impressed by the paint on the final version. And that little booklet too, wow. Could this be a hint we might actually see that jumbo at some point? :) Well, I can dream anyways. Lovely toy, Martin!

Yes, glad to see some boardie-born snaps of this guy. Now, what would it take to get you to shoot a little video of him doing his thing?
    Congrats, @spacemonkey66!

Thanks guys! Yes, a long wait for this one (I pre-ordered it September last year!). The booklet has other images in it also, I just photographed a couple of pages. Box is so nice. I didn't realise this re-issue included the removable mask, so that was a very nice surprise! It also has the Nakajima logo on his back, and Nakajima inset on the underneath of each boot. Nice touches. It comes with the flying attachment device too. Here's a little video I found on Youtube: 復刻・アストロミュー5「ウルトラアースVSデビルバドー」 If link doesn't work just copy and paste this in to Youtube search.

Yep, he is a really a clear winner. Love this version of the guy, and the robotic innards set if off wonderfully. A perfect meshing for the character, and about as close as you could hope to achieve to vintage, without being a straight-on repro. I love him.

Yes they are indeed. This was a style that was originally done on some vintage 'cyborg' toys. Unfortunately, the paper doesn't always hold up so well to play and ageing, whereas the pipe cleaners innards last longer. Which is really too bad, because the printing detail and robotic components on these is really amazing, and adds so much to the figure. Mark did a wonderful job on these guys, and I honestly would be over the moon to see some other makers take on the cyborg line in a similar fashion. (you do see some modern toys with innards and such, which are excellent, but not the same sort of heroes)

Thanks guys! A good score for sure, thanks to a fellow collector. Tons of charm. The "guts" are indeed printed paper, but a very sturdy and glossy stock (being a curious cat, I popped a leg off just to check it out). Good stuff.

Can't say why, but I didn't register this pic until a few moments ago... wow! This sculpt hits me in each and every crevice of my multiple sweet spots! Crazy crude but with personality and radiant charm to spare. Loving the color slather, too - just enough to coat my heart.

One off, eh? Good timing and great eye, Rob!
