Edit: USPS came through and I don't believe it. I guess me going to the p.o. raised some concerns for the dude that just dropped it off stated that it was bound for a different city even though my address was correct. Still doesn't explain their attempt to deliver from yesterday though.

Fuck my neighbor for taking a package that was mine.
Fuck him for never contacting me when he realized the mistake and we live next door, and not calling me when I left a note on his door.
Fuck him for then telling the mailman the box was trashed and the toy broken so he threw it away.

Cheers to Canada Post's ombudsman who at least arranged to have me reimbursed.
Cheers to the mailman who may have made a mistake but who told me that the box was fine, the neighbor is lying, and their investigators are working on the case and will prosecute.
