Super7's Disney and Simpsons licenses are expiring: https://forums.toynewsi.com/forums/topic/2143828-super7-disney-license-not-moving-forward/
Found this video yesterday, too. Any word on where to find them in the wild? The fellow in the vid mentioned Target, but I couldn't find any info on their site (or Super7's).
The last Godzilla blind boxes were Target exclusives, these are probably the same. In general, Super7 hasn't been great at communicating about these exclusives, there was a whole wave of glow Reaction monsters on Remco-style cards that I didn't see announced anywhere.
I searched my stores that said they had the first run of target blind boxes and was unable to find them. So I ordered straight from target.com and got 6 figures with only one double. Still need that Mecha Godzilla. I would say just order from target.com.
Yes, it's a place of evil, but... This unbelievably rad little toy keeping dropping down to $12.99 shipped.
Here's something that I didn't know until today: Last year's blind box run was essentially a Godzilla Island playset: (The story that involves Black MechaGodzilla isn't up on the YooToob yet.) Considering the kaiju cast on Godzilla Island were all played by Bandais, these ReActions rate as toys of toys, too!
Someone on the Reaction Figure Facebook group has a painted test shot of the unreleased Roddy Piper figure from the They Live line, sans head. Pretty nifty. Also looks like we're getting a Smart Grimlock: https://www.ebay.com/itm/375234532520
For those of you hunting the Godzilla figures, there is a new "Silver Screen" blind box series at Target.
Sorry, I don't. As usual there's nothing official about these Target exclusives, I'm not sure why this always happens. Someone on Facebook posted a picture of an empty case. On the side it had Mechagodzilla, Minilla, and (I think) the rest were Godzillas.
Found it: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ReActionFigureFans/permalink/7360806414032901/?app=fbl There are only two Godzillas: 62 and 74, and Gigan is in there too.
Members only. Pictures of the toys or the box art? Screen caps would be great, if possible. EDIT: NM, hadn't seen your first reply yet. Thanks for the reportage! Unnessesary recap: Gigan Godzilla '62 Godzilla '74 Manilla Mechagodzilla EDIT 2: Crops from FB shots of the case.
Me again! A flipper on the 'bay was kind enough to send me these snaps: 3/12 Gigan Godzilla '74 Mechagodzilla 2/12 Gigan 1/12 Godzilla '62
Available on Super7 Case: https://super7.com/products/toho-blind-box-wave-03-silver-screen-blind-box-flat-silver-screen Indiv box: https://super7.com/products/toho-blind-box-wave-03-silver-screen-individual-blind-box
Another case of these Target exclusives being poorly communicated. The figures are on the site but you have to find them through Google and not Target's own search function, and they aren't available to buy yet: https://www.target.com/p/super-7-re...nball-edition-collectible-figure/-/A-90618569 https://www.target.com/p/super-7-re...nball-edition-collectible-figure/-/A-90618572
