So great to see a new Pumpkin and Mummy Boy!!! Wanted both, but since they’re the exact same version I had to go with the Pumpkin Boy, especially since they’re hardly to come up!
Happy 20th! (I feel old.) Thinking back, my first Super7 magazine was the Micronauts one with the Antron cover. That was probably one of the contributing factors to my interest in designer toys. I still re-read the magazines every now and then... there's always something that I didn't see/understand when I read them the first time. Also interesting to think about what happened to some of the artists and toy lines that were featured in the early issues. My first Super7 purchase was- if memory serves- not a designer toy, but a Transformer. Way back when, they actually stocked vintage TFs, and I bought the Japan-only Micromaster combiner Sixwing from them. It was a little yellowed, but complete and in great condition otherwise. Sixwing was pretty rare back then, and I doubt I would be able to afford one if it came up these days (missed the boat on Guard City and Battle Gaia, sadly). Still happy to have this one in my collection.
The 2005 Secret Base x S7 SDCC Ghostfighter was my gateway drug into this world! Picked up Josh's RV just for old times sake! Happy B'day!
