Im interested to see the runsize and how many distro stores got cause lulu only has 5 left but super7 just put up like 30+
Still available! . . . . with all the hype I'm kinda relieved to see the that the RxH levels of interest and frenzied buying are staying away from SB! Good work fellas . . . stick with them minis!
I doubt if there is any less interest in the Voodoo Skullbrain than the Minis from RxH. Sure the "frenzied buying" you percieve is an illusion caused by the scarcity of the mini figs. If there were as few of these SBs as minis, you'd see the frenzied buy out as well. It's nice to see them stick around for a bit tho.
Ha..did you count how many s7 had? Just out of curiousity...is the run size important? I never understand why people were interested in runsizes. I guess for me..if i see a toy and like it and have the opportunity to buy it I will..regardless of how many are made.
Personally, I'd buy a toy I like regardless of run size. But run size can add a cetain sweetness to acquiring a fig. Managing to score an uber-limited piece makes it all the sweeter seeing it in your case.
Also, a note on run sizes, is that if I know something is made in larger quantities I can say "Hey, I WANT this, but would rather wait till my next check or I get a bit more extra cash" vs. low runs where I have to say "If I want this, this might be my only chance at it for a good price." I don't care HOW MANY are made, like actual #'s, but it's nice to know your chances. On the down side, that info gets out and flippers and trade-flippers nab em up too and we suffer. Double edged sword, so I say "secrets are better."
Perceived and preferred . . . good work S7 in making sure there were enough to make it so . . . . . . but the next 6 months is gonna be a long road!
I always got the sense that the idea of run sizes is a western vinyl thing. Seems like most western vinyl posts that stuff. And to me it seems like when people transfer over to this board and they see items like like they want to know how many are made. That is NOT a bad thing but I just wonder if it matters. I guess for me I like toys. Started as a kid with godzilla and robots, then starwars etc. And when I saw something I wanted I tried to obtain it. I still think that way. I think with rxh and gargamel..I just assume that the runs are small and never going to be stated so if something I want then I'm going to go after it. That being said... I would kill to know how many v3 evils were made. So I do understand part of it.
one of the things that attracted me to new Japanese toys was that no run sizes were given. Even when a run size was implied it was still only implied. You had and still have to make a decision based on whether you like it or not.
wanting to know the run size isn't necessariy a bad thing. i like to know a basic range of the size, but i would buy it no matter the size, because i like it. it's a different story when a purchase is only based on the run size. that's what ruins the fun in some forms of collecting. my moms back about 10 years ago was big into buying those beanie baby things, along with everyone elses mom. that is the perfect example of people collecting just to get rare shit for the purpose of selling it, which ended up destroying the whole market in its case. collecting should be done for the love for the object collected, not for just for being "the best" at collecting it.
Loving the complete set plus bonus one hit buy to guarantee the whole enchilada . . . takes the stress out of the 13th's of every month!
