Love this theme! Here's a Haitian Vodoun (voodoo) painting - I used to hang this at the beach, but guests kept taking it down when they'd stay, and I'd find it in the closet. I don't know much about the symbology, but I have always wondered if one day some Haitian friend would see it and say "You keep this bad mojo in your house!?!" Click for full size.
I will be picking this one up! I have 2 vodoo dolls that I have bought on both of my trips to New Orleans. I'll be picking up another one when I go again later this month.

I keep coming back to look at this voodoo Skullbrain. I have dabbled in SB for quite a while now (have about 20 different toys), but judging by how strong some of the recent and upcoming releases are (Walder tribute, holy shit), I am becoming even more of a fan.
Pretty garish, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I like it; but then there are very few 'Brains that I've actively disliked. Plus it's great to see a resurgence of love for the Base. Don't know if I'll go for the whole set (I have to draw the line somewhere, financially and space-wise) but depending on how they look that may change quickly. Anyhow, this seems like a great idea - I'm really hip on the fact that it's a finite series like the GNO.
I bet it's pretty good. I'm just excited about what the mystery figures could be....I have high hopes it's a new design from Flynn.
the paint on the teeth looks awful, hopefully this is just a quickly put together prototype or something...nonetheless, i can't pass up a skullbrain, so i'm in!
I'm just speculating on what the other figures will be. Kinda bummed the Mantis or Obake2 is not part of the set, but at the same time, kinda excited to wonder what the other figures will be.
what about skull mantis? the zombie heads wouldve been perfect, or are all mantis out of the question?
Hows the redemption of the seventh figure handled? Is there a voucher or something in the bag that you have to send away for, like UPCS on cereal boxes, or do you buy them all from the same store, who keeps track of which ones you got? Is it something that you have to open the figure for? I'm on the fence with the SKullbrain, but the idea of a mystery figure is enough to make me spend and extra $65 a month for it. Especially since it's SB, and a SKullwing would be really neat. phil
i'd imagine same as always. there will be someghing in the bag that you must mail in to s7 at the end. they mark them all as "used" and send them back with the bonus. personally, i see the chances the skullwing being the secret are almost non existent since it was developed as an astrozombies collaboration and they seem to determine when and where new ones drop.

just throwin this out - but as it happened with the CHOMP - Chaos/Stomp......im wondering if we end up getting some sort of SQWERM x SB as the secret fig?
Is this the header for the Brain? If not can LS create the remaining header cards for these... BTW LS, nice work as usual.
