Love the colours and the vibrancy but it's not what I'd immediately relate to the Voodoo theme! . . . Any idea what the inspiration was?
if it wasn't for the freebie and all the possibilities of that I would completely ignore this release.
i dunno what the colors are based on put im taking out the inners and filling them with small bones and things... beaks, lil bits or rope...
Collect all of them and the bonus is a vial of chicken blood and some straight pins for the dolls. AWESOME!!! Aside from the inner doll, I don't really make a "Voodoo connection", but they are still most excellent!! I'm guessing a Bagman will be in the lineup...the mask aspect of the bag is too good to pass up with this theme.
Well...if you don't collect Secret Base then it is safe to ignore since Pogue did mention that it would be an all SB thing. YAY Secret Base!!
Sorry, I meant that in the sense that I don't like the colours much, reminds me of the batman one, and I really didn't like him. I'm all about the Base, no RxH touches these glass shelves! (even with Temptation knocking)
The temptation for RxH will subside when you realize how hard it is to get...even for those living in San Francisco. I see what some people are saying about the colors, but then I'm no Voodoo expert. To me, when people talk about Voodoo, I think of the more common Haitian version which then has roots in Africa. With that in mind, the colors just don't seem right...then there's the notion of Voodoo vs Hoodoo......ah screw it. I'm just reading in too much. It's a cool figure and will be cool to have the whole set so I can display them with this guy: I'm afraid to open it up and eat it.
not feeling the colors here... hopefully the next voodoo in the series will be much darker and more I dunno... scary or something this one reminds me of superman for some reason...
