Hope folks were able to score one of these! I'd been anticipating this for a while, but it just didn't line up financially.

Looking forward to seeing the variant with mono eye.

Been having a lot of fun painting these guys even if it is a way bigger undertaking then the previous scum pit toy releases.
It's gonna be a busy year at the pit I've been thinking I might just start treating this as a blog spot and just do a weekly update on whats going on with the brand here maybe tease upcoming releases we will see how it all plays out I really always want SB to be a big part of the Scum experience but I feel like the lack of momentum here makes me feel like it will come off as pandering to myself.

ANYWAY
I am very hyped on how the Rainy Blue Sky Sewer Creep drop turned out. I actually did a high amount of these to match the amount of the cups I had. I am hoping to always have some sort of figure in the webstore so people can find the brand and start with something instead of feeling like everything is lotto and unaccessible.
Honestly thats been an issue i've been having for awhile. I really want things to grow expand and evolve and its hard to accomplish that with sell outs to return collectors. I mean I obvi have nothing but love for the Scum Elite but like I want people to be able to join in and see what we are trying to do in terms of expanding the scene and the positivity.
I'm over the gate keeping, clout chasing and hype beasting I'm making toys and having fun doing It and trying to show people fun stuff they can put in there homes and use as excuses to travel and meet more fun weird friends.

I think SB getting the exclusive update is a fantastic idea! You know this place to me is like a local bar or restaurant or club house I’ve been going to for such a large stretch of my adult life at this point. I love to see it thrive.

As for the scumpit-I love the idea of always having something available to give newcomers a starting point. It kind of flies in the face of what this hobby has become in a way, but I think it could be a very welcome change. Sometimes it’s fun even when everyone gets a chance, you know?

 

Seconded. I post updates in two places: Instagram and Skullbrain. There's something to be said about the interaction between people on a privately-operated bulletin board vs. a corporate social media platform. I don't think it's pandering in any way.

 

And no algo here to get lost in. Just good ol' fashion new/unread posts

 

I stopped posting here because I felt like it was pandering too. But these days there is so little traffic and everyone uses insta, I feel like it no longer comes across as that. Kind of a spot for the long standing hardcore.
I don’t know should we give SB an early preview of next weeks drop?

The Usir skull head is so versatile! And I’m really liking the soft pale sprays. Really gives it a vintage feel which I feel is lacking these days in a lot of new soft vinyl where the sprays look overdone. This looks pleasantly restrained.

 

I am so stoked we finally get to do a run of Usir Omegas. Can’t wait for people to see these in hand it’s such a great collab a really bringer of Dark Omens.

Thought I’d drop this onto this thread rather than the mail one as @hellopike cracking arrival (and photo) is on there.

Tried for the first one with no success but was chuffed to luck out on the second lotto! Have always loved the X-Men and spent many hours of my youth reading the comics; add to that I’d a sucker for a robot, droid or automaton and this Hunter is destined to join my Bot shelf.

Looking forward to taking some snaps of it outside, once monsoon season stops!

An absolute chunk of vinyl, the details of the sculpt are superb and the paint app is excellent. I can't help but think one with LED eyes would be a fun release... ideally black LEDs that light up red

First I’m so glad you dig it my dude!
Now on to business!

with this second attempt at a SB weekly round up I figured I would share some of the things we got going on.
First today we are dropping the first Usir Omega release. Joe has done a killer job on these and I can’t wait to see what people do with them in terms of fun pics.

again this is just the first colorway the second will be by me and probably drop at Blackest Dawn my show on 5/4 the 5 year anniversary of KVLTVS but more on that later.
As for right now I’m currently in PK mode. I’m focusing on some fun stuff for Paul’s show here at the Scum Pit on 3/23 Rollermania. We had such a blast last time that I just can’t wait for people to see what we got planned next. That said here’s a little Teaser…

Lots of fun stuff and of course the Roller Skating after party. Come for the toys stay for the free food and drinks and awesome toy hangs.
But with that in mind we should be seeing the first drop of a brand new sculpt soon… THE ZOMBI!!! Of course I’m trying to up the Atomica visibility in the roster and figured a great way would be to give the witch doctor a sidekick. So hoping to drop these new guys soon…

finally I don’t want to give away to many details but I will say we have a fun Hunter Drop planned for 3/29. I’m going to announce more details soon as well as this years Scum Pit exclusive figure.
With everything we have going on I’m trying to really make people aware that the brand is expanding and quickly this year will see a lot of new sculpts as well as more shows. We are hoping to really get everyone prepared for the big changes we have planned for 2025.
I’m literally working 85+ hours a week but I refuse to stop. I want to see this through to my best possible scenario. I want the scene to see what we are capable of.
