First, I asked Josh if this was OK. Wanted to get something creative going here for love of animals. Still working out some details on what I want to have this long overdue concept live again. For now please reply in the thread if you have interest in participating in this venture. I will give this a few weeks to let folks decide on whether they want to contribute to this and a be part of something fun that also helps animals. For no other motive nor reason....... I WANT YOUR SKULLS! No silly Billy, not the one that keeps your face pretty but rendered on paper. Plan so far is to allow folks time to do their work and submit them to me. I will scan and compile the works then randomly mail the originals back to all involved. I will create a simple zine format to print all the skull art and would like to offer the zine for sale for a 90 day period. All the funds made will be donated to animal shelters and will help those who take care of animals. Everything will be on the level. As a prize to make it more fun....... I will mail a Screenprinted Lord of Death Dokuro King tribute to the person that contributes the skull art which I will eventually use for the cover of the Zine! Art can be rendered anyway folks choose but keep the trade part in mind. I would need to have something printed to mail randomly to another participant involved.

Yes, my friend Jun is not on SB and I invited him to contribute and literally he said what you said. Maybe to make this more fun, how about everyone invite one of their non SB friend to contribute? What's the story when it comes to color? I whipped up a couple of tinted noggin things, but I can try for straight up b&w if need be. Whutcha using for "ink", Lee?
OK here are some guidelines: Any skull of any creature, human or otherwise. Submissions can be in color or black and white but the zine will be black and white Size is up to you guys but please keep in mind that I am paying to mail the art to participants so no huge or oversized stuff Keep it fun, be creative and don't rush we got time. This sounds like a very cool project, John. Zines are far from dead (I think at least from what I have seen) but a 'Skull'brain specific one, especially to support a nice cause, is always worth supporting. Not unlike the much forlorned moleskin project, this seems like a great opportunity to help build connections between internet strangers, and showcase some of the many talents of the people on this board. I can't contribute art for the life of me, but am excited to see what those not so wretched artistically can come up with.
