Yeah that far throw is no bueno. I once threw a ball that seemed to have almost never landed. I thought it was kinda funny at first until it kept happening.
legitimately every other pokemon i attempt to catch runs away. a level 100-ish pikachu escaped a great ball twice... i would gladly pay like $20 for the game if they could guarantee a good playing experience lol
Yeah...there was a 248 abra at my house, I need them so I used a berry and ultra ball, escaped and ran away after one try... You should get at least 2 chances
So, I'm sick to death of hearing about spoofers. I'm also sick to death of SEEING spoofers. A gym that has only 3 3200CP Dragonites in my bumfuck town? Riiiiight, like I'm supposed to believe that's legit. Anyway, I decided to fight fire with fire and become the anti-spoofer. I made a spoof account yesterday and started leveling it, got to level 13 with no Lucky Eggs used yet. Saving evolutions for a grand slam of exp. My end goal? TAKE GYMS FROM SPOOFERS AND REPLACE IT WITH A MAGIKARP. That way the gym is down and back into competitive play, and maybe some newbie can take their first gym and feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Are all the trackers down again? Finally decided to give them a go yesterday, but the one I tried stopped working a couple hours later. Tried another this morning, but also nothing.
I've been on the grind and found a sweet spot for magikarp and charmanders. I can catch about 15 magikarp in 10 minutes time and at times can get 3-4 spawning within 50 feet of each other at the same time. I was able to hatch the Lapras from a 10km egg! YAY!!
My local zoo had a fantastic event on Sunday. There are 30 or so pokestops around the park and they kept them all lured for 4 hours. It was a big day, not too many rares appeared but I caught enough commons to evolve to get me up to lv 24 with a lucky egg.
soooo yeahhhh.... i didnt have a Hitmonchan yet... one was 3 houses down from me last night... 30 Ultra balls and last of my berries later... fucker runs... he was a high CP at about 1100... the thrill of not having one made me lock and load ultras (only reason I use ultras is for specific type i have not caught yet)... I was , hell I still am TICKED!
30 ultra balls is insane, I'd be pissed as hell too >_> I finally nabbed a volpix on a walk with hubs the other day, we'd never seen one before until then, though I did get a shadow of a nine tails one time but could never track it down
I think my account got banned? I can't login and some online searches say the message I get means the ban hammer. Not sure why as I am a legit player. I was not even on for the past 2 days. Sent an appeal to Niantic to see what the hell the problem is. If they banned me for no reason I am going to be extremely pissed!
I know they announced that gps hack users would be banned, hopefully you can get your account back. I'll be glad to see all those level 33s with super dragonites gone from my neighboorhood gyms though.
I think that I might know the reason, but it would be a crazy long shot. Every once in a while when I google search something it thinks I am in Las Vegas, NV which I am not. Maybe they think I am spoofing because of this. Which I am clearly not. Unsure why my phone does this but even outside of Pokemon Go it is quite a pain in the ass.
The bad thing about living in AZ; no good water sources. Anything decent is either too far or gives crap. Someone mentioned a dratini nest that got wiped after the initial major update. Bummer
Have you heard back from Niantic at all? Some people on the subreddit have been complaining about being wrongfully banned, so you're not alone in this. Also I can't wait for the new tracking to be rolled out for all players... I'll put $5 into the game for some extra incubators when that happens, getting tired of hatching one at a time!
I went to SF today. Fort Mason area was great. I still can not find Grimer, Muck, Ditto, and about 10 others. It's interesting because in San Jose the new update doesn't work. (It just shows pokemon in grass, but in the city it shows you the location and where you can find it.)
I don't think Ditto has been released yet, so don't feel bad! I'm a 24, and I'm only at 112 caught. Rough up here in Seattle I guess.
Not yet. I heard that even if you appeal the ban no one actually reads them. It is just an automated response email and then nothing.
Damn 30?! I've tested it out to where I find a fully evolved - high level Pokémon and give it a raspberry and ultra then it escapes, I try the ultra ball by itself and once again it's out so then I switch it up and throw nothing but a great ball and Gotcha! The only thing I wouldn't throw at a high level Pokémon is a regular poké ball, they tend to run quick with those.
The absurd ball counts must be a glitch. I was having a horrible time yesterday wasting tons of balls; like over 10 ultra balls on a +800 cp jynx (not rare at all) because I had run out of any others. (I ran away from that.) Anyway, I after I restarted the game it normalised to acceptable levels.
I think this game really should have been held back a few more months. What is it with game-makers these days releasing half-finishing games anyway? Really gets irritating after a while.
thats the spot. i have never been to that part of SF before, so not only was it a refreshing take on the city. but a total awesome experience all together... and I finally got a damn squirtel! lol... Anyone know how Vegas is? lol...
Just had that with a 196cp Bulbasaur. Few great balls all razz berry'd, whole bunch of ultra balls also all razz berry'd, breaks out of all, then a regular ball catches him. Nonsensical.
