It's a collaboration project like with the TMNT figures. So it has to remain somewhat accurate. There were a few more photo shots of it. But it might not help that they are just using a white background. It looks fine to me. Doesn't need a ton of shading brush work. Maybe for some one off's in the future? But I hope they do the blue jacket version as well.

@Headhunter Yeah, I saw the copyright mark in lower right. I mean, good for RxH to do more licensed work. I think it is the head with full masking that is turning me off. The masking of the facial features and flame only makes the whole thing look really cheap. The rest of the body is ok, but the Chaos Man style cracks are a little weird since the body is clothed. Just my opinion, and I'm sure there were probably constraints on what he could modify with the licensor.
@akum6n more free-spray would have been much appreciated, agreed. Still, always excited to see licensed work from Mori, and it's pretty mind-blowing to see him take on such a massive property. While the overall sculpt looks bulky, I'm hoping the joints will play well with standard adult arms too.
Skullbrain getting a head-start on the 2020 shenanigans... People ragging on RxH and praising a Nag toy... what is the world coming to?!?!?! Seriously though, this is a killer release - the proportions seem to match regular RxH releases (unlike those Unbox TMNT) so hopefully he's able to use pieces for future figure varieties. I imagine the paint app is simple because this will hopefully be a pre-order/there's a large run. Surely dealing with guys like Marvel they would want to prove that money can be made - in hopes for future work together. I remember seeing a sketch/sculpt for a Spider-Man head a while back.. hoping that's next!
Checked the site out and it mentions a lotto. I think freesprays on this toy would look off since it’s such a classic character. Hopefully they do a McFarlen flame version
Yeah you don't notice it in photos, no one takes a photo of the top. I'd imagine they'd use it for horns potentially.
