For anyone interested in the Medicom Retro sofubi toys, the latest issue of FIGURE OH/Figure KING is a must have! It features all the figures made to date, including the standard and middle size. The feature also shows photos of all the backing cards. Also, check out the new 35cm Kamen Rider!
Were the last two Astro-Mu figures ever produced or has anyone received theirs? I pre-ordered mine from TAG over a year ago but never received them. I ordered and received the other four figures from them, just missing Juperos and Satan Ace. Seems like a long time to have passed if they haven't been produced yet. I've tried e-mailing TAG (no reply), and calling them, but the toll free number is always busy and no one is answering the local line.
Quick question, I'm looking for a Figure that was a Medicom release from a few months ago. It's a girl sitting with headphones on listening to a little record player. Can anyone point me in the right direction, or tell me the name of it? I have a little shelf above my Crosley and want her to join the family. Thanks! Q
@quentor Love the Raji Reco Turntable Girl. They sell out quickly when they are offered but seem to pop up on Mandarake from time to time.
There's 2 new colors of the Turntable Girl that are showing up at the next Super Festival, so there will be more opportunities.
Hey gang, i don't know if maybe I missed something. But anyone know who made this dude? Looks alittle like dreamrocket but i cant be sure.
Does this page help? http://sofvi.tokyo/170924-senrigan/ Looks like "Sakata shojo maru" from the translation
Is there anyone here who collects Medicom’s Retro Sufubi line like what’s pictured in Spacemonkeys post above? I can’t say enough how much i really love their stuff! I try to buy my favorites whenever I can. ( pm me if selling btw! ) i still can’t find a good way to buy other than second market and it’s not easy to keep up. Anyway... it would be great to find a group of Medicom collectors to trade tips, figures, etc but I never ever see any?. ...
Three new Medicom/Marmit Shin Godzilla versions for the Godzilla Vinyl Wars EX series were released at Wonderfest Summer 2018 (photos cribbed from YJA):
Flippintastic! Also the 3 Ray Harryhausen figures formally by Pilot Ace were released again by Medicom. Retail for the Marmit Shin Godzilla are 8,000 yen each and the Harryhausen line are 12,000 yen each.
I sincerely hope the Harryhausen trio comes to traditional open Medicom pre - order. I would love to have the new Cyclops with the club - wielding hand.
I am curious about the new Medicom/Marmit Xenomorphs. Was there a recent exhibit or lottery where more of the artist customs were displayed? I remember seeing some excellent paintwork showing up on both @Paulkaiju and @Rich IG pages recently, as well as the one @hellopike posted here on the forum. Anybody have more info or photos?
