Looks like that bread bag clip figure that we saw a while back is ready to go. http://shop-bts.com/goods/bts-gds-006
Hopefully someone has more background info but in case anyone didn't catch it, there's a new entry at the Garga-blog that includes this rear shot of the proto. Another excellent sculpt!
the fader (?) on the side of the head is a cool touch. i like the body style too... the bread clip face, not so much
I'm guessing that the things on the side of the head are probably supposed to be a lever from a toaster. The belt buckle looks like one of those individual serving pads of butter you'd get at a diner... What the hell. The sculpt is well done and I like that it looks like a suit, but it's way too comical for me. I'm sure others will love it.
Yea the blog updated it yesterday. They went on sale on some website I doubt many of us had ever heard of. http://shop-bts.com/goods/bts-gds-006 Seems they sold out really fast.
I'm not surprised that they sold out. Good for Gargamel, and thank you for the update. Hopefully future releases will make it overseas.
Have US distro's indicated that these will not be offered here? Woulda been awesome for some unpainted varieties of that dude to make their way into some LB's.
not much info i know, but from bwana w/ regards to gargamel & his frederick monster family release (sculpted by naoya, i believe) : so sounds like gargamel goodness is still happening, just at a delayed pace. they did go out with a big lucky bag bang!
Apperhantly they had a killer blowout sale, when the store closed down, I really wish I had been in Japan for that. I hope they start producing more vinyl, so much talent from that crew to leave the scene hanging.
i think so from the conversation during their last days in tokyo. unless something crops up last minute i guess. i think this wouldn't happen. but even without new fight figure, there are enough past releases to keep any collector occupied for a long while.
Still missing a few Germs..ahem blue and pink... Anyway still no gargamel updates. I hope they are doing well. I used to love and still love opening up new Gargamel toys. That fresh Vinyl smell. I miss that.
